This place is so close to a 5 star spot, but they cut some corners and the service was subpar. From the start the staff seemed a little confused and gave us the wrong menus, they then were not sure if they had certain items. The juices were not fresh and came in a container. We ordered the pastries to start as it seemed like a nice sampler, but they never came.
Now even with all these issues the food we did get was very good. I got the chilaquiles which was delicious and had some great flavors. My wife got the breakfast burrito which was also very good.
The coffee was freshly brewed and was a nice roast.
The atmosphere itself is very nice and has some great natural light. The restaurant is in a higher end resort and has a great little bar in the same common area.
Overall a great spot to try.

Quaint and Upscale, Kind of Beach-style decor. Small chairs, but they hove some bench seating for bigger folks. Reasonable prices. The cocktail was delicious and well made. Sandwich spectacular, so happy I got the BLT with the added smoked salmon; so much flavor. Would change the construction of the sandwich a bit with regards to the avocado being cut better or served in a different style because the chunks I had kept falling out upon eating. It's a nice place, felt like a nice country club or golf course. The bar area looked amazing, I'd love to come back when it's busy and perhaps have drinks in the bar area where the decor was more to my liking.

Layla at McArthur Place is one of the local favorites restaurants which has a great menu and lovely, contemporary atmosphere. It is full of light and the staff is friendly and welcoming. We had a great time there.

Honestly, what a great place. My fiancé and I just moved to the area and have been looking for a restaurant with great food, solid service, and a peaceful ambience. This place definitely has it; our server Gabriel was excellent and the ceviche, oysters, shishito peppers, and seafood risotto were amazing. We learned that this location also serves as an event venue and we’d love to explore the options. Thanks for such a great night!

Love this place. There was complementary Valet parking which I absolutely loved. The staff was incredible. Margaux was our waitress and she was attentive, absolutely incredible and CUTE! Ashley the pastry chef came out to personally serve us our dessert and came out again to ask us how it tasted. It made us feel really special! The bartender from Scotland was so fun to chat with and the ambience of the entire venue was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I cannot wait to come back!

Great food, even better service! Pedro was our server and he was so nice to my grumpy and messy 2 year old and 4 year old.

The atmosphere is lovely, you'll feel like your in the Hamptons! We will definitely be back.

A solid, well-executed Christmas prix fixe menu. We did Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day lunch.

For dinner - The scallops were succulent and the pork chops were so tasty. The pork was a thick cut and I was worried it wouldn't be cooked through, but I was wrong. The Parker rolls in a small cast iron pan was amazing. The desserts were also good.

For breakfast, started with the avocado toast with salmon and bread from Della Fattoria. Entree was the steak and eggs. Hubby got the omelette. Coffee was strong and not overly fruity or acidic. I heard it was from Healdsburg (Wolf?).

Loved having the best meals we had this year and definitely the highlight of the holidays. The service was top notch - attentive but not overly fake friendly. I was so impressed by the professionalism of all the staff we encountered during our stay. Please keep it up. We are locals who love to support Sonoma County businesses and happy to see when it's done well.

This was an amazing place to eat, one of my favorites in recent memory. The back patio was so pretty with lots of plants, nice lights and a great design.

They took really good care of us, and our food arrived in just the right amount of time. The herbed bread was yummy, but we absolutely loved the pumpkin tart. It was incredibly good.

We also tried the pasta and fish, and both were great. We would definitely order them again. I would strongly suggest this place! Layla was the perfect spot for our brunch.
Here's why it was so good:
-It's in Sonoma, just 20 minutes from the center of Napa.
-It wasn't too busy!
-They have parking help
-They let you bring your dog
-The food is really good
-The people who work there are really nice
-The place looks beautiful
-We're planning to come back soon!
