If you love the feel of a small hometown bar, you have to visit this place! I go every time I'm in town. Arlie does her best to keep it fresh by bringing in local talent and Karaoke. Always a good time.

Had a great time there. Good band playing. Friendly people, non-judgmental vibe. Would like to see a bigger beer selection, which is true of all bars here. Totally recommend this place though.

Lovely ambiance with a bit of rustic flare. The crowd are locals who enjoy a good drink but not too much that would make them roudy. Truly an enjoyable place to be any day of the week. I believe they have karaoke on friday nights.
Beats chilling at home alone, that's for sure.

Kind of a depressing place some days, but it really sort of just reflects that atmosphere of the town it's in. The crowd is hit or miss, sometimes being extremely friendly and fun, sometimes looking like they wanna beat you up if you try and start a conversation.

All in all, a bar is a bar and this one does the trick. I could have given it 4 stars but the alcohol choice is pretty minimal, and last time I went only 2 choices of draught beer (bud and bud lite).

If you're in town to visit, try 178 Bar and Grill or better yet, go to Kernville if you can afford the trip. This is really the kind of place for locals that wanna just unwind and forget about their miserable lives.

Nice local bar, we just moved into the area , and decided to check out the local bar for a drink, reasonable prices! And a really decent drink , not watered down , people where lively and friendly , my boyfriend played a game of pool with one of the local guys he was extremely nice to ask him to play a game . Will visit again.

Arlie's is a good place to hang out and watch the game, chill out with friends, or knock it out with kareok. The bar tenders are great. Play the juke box, listen to the band, play pool, darts, watch TV, have cocktails, wine, beer, all while playing Hot Spot.
