A truly beautiful community with a small and clean shopping center. The lake, while being privately owned it is still a calming and serene location. The roads are easy to travel and well maintained, featuring a plethora of safety features and markers to see the railing during snow days and snow storms. Signs are well maintained and well marked, leading to the areas of interest, including the local locations. Great for clearing your head, trips with the family, and an escape from the heat.

This is a wholesome little shopping village with patios to overlook the water and with snow on the rooftops who could ask for a better view. If it's too cold for you outside you can simply go inside and look out the window of one of the meant food places they offer.

Lake arrowhead, and Big bear both are good places. Lake arrowhead is just less driving.

This is one of the places we love taking our family/friends that visit from out of state to see the beauty of Inland Empire. We love outdoors and this is one spot that is so quaint, euro centric and relaxing place to visit even if it's just breakfast time to eat at, a day visit to relax or a weekend to just detach from the daily grind of life

The buildings in the town share a unified and adorable architectural style, which, when coupled with the tall conifers, creates a lovely winter atmosphere. The lake is crystal clear, with many small fish visible within, and ducks swimming on the surface. It's incredibly relaxing to just sit quietly and enjoy the peaceful scenery.

We have taken 2 day trips to Lake Arrowhead in the last month or so. The first time we ate at Hortencio's cliff hanger. The food was good, but the atmosphere was what made the place. Beautiful views. Today, we wandered in the village. Most everything was closed, being Christmas Day, but the walk was nice. Again, beautiful views. It was a nice addition to our Christmas routine, even without the snow.

Very clean lake nice area not too big just right had the necessary, nice restaurants, boat tour and rentals. The views are nice the lake was clear. It is an interesting place to visit and have some food a drink or attend the outdoor events by the lake it's clean and overall beautiful and peaceful.
It has some intesting shops with a bit of everything.
