Place was perfect for us.irs literally on the water within walking distance to the big bear village. Room was good especially for the price. Couldn't beat it. Appliances in the room were older and def could use a little update but like I said we will def go back. Game room was good played pool and ping pong and the indoor pool and Jacuzzi were right below game room and were open late and fun. He tic during day time when kids are taking over but if u can make it in early or later def nice. The facility itself was fine no complaints staff were relatively nice and had good suggestions.

This was our second time here, we especially love the lake front location. The room (#125) was spacious, clean and nicely decorated for a mountain lodge. We loved the view of the lake from the living room and outdoor deck. The staff were friendly and helpful. The proximity to downtown made it convenient. The kitchen had all of the basics to cook and serve your own meals. The bed was comfortable. The fireplace in the living provided a nice ambiance during our late fall visit.

Front desk are friendly and helpful.
Room are all close to lake and you can even have Spa near the big bear lake. Recreation room is a good place to relax and having fun with family and friends.

The short side is, the room furniture is bit old. Sound insulation is quite poor, especially if you got a first floor room.
Remember to check your water heater while you enter your room. Mine is not working in the beginning, have to ask the maintenance to check and fix.

There are some minor flaws but overall it is in line with the price and the experience is good.

We have been to Lagonita numerous times and have always have a very pleasant stay. This time we had an issue with our sliding door. I went to the office and showed Allison a video of what was happening with the door. (I have the recording) I stated I had not been able to rest well and she brushed it off when I stated I would like it fixed as well as late check out. Basically, told me to call back checkout day. On checkout day, I spoke with Stephanie and explained what happened and asked about the complimentary late check out. Immediately had an attitude and rude tone, placed me on hold for a long time and then agreed to 11am “late checkout” which should have been at least 12pm since that is their standard check out Monday- Thursday . |As a business this should have been handled much better. They disregarded our safety (unlock-able sliding door just cheap chain link) plus in a winter storm having door slide open everytime the heater when off was unacceptable. We were awoken by the freezing cold air and didn’t sleep much, bad way to begin the trip. Maintenance did come and replace parts. He was kind and helpful. If front desk employees had a better attitude I wouldn’t have left this review. I’m aware things happen it’s how it gets handled that makes a difference. ||| Based on our other experiences here front desk staff are usually kind and helpful.

Room was great. We had a lake front room with a balcony and gas fireplace. Full, but tiny kitchen, spacious livingroom, nice furniture. Very clean property. Staff were all extremely friendly. Conveniently located. Not skiers, but there was a little snow (Feb). We've stayed here before in a smaller room, but accommodations were equally as good.

Beautiful place for families. Great amenities, and everything you need in your room including full kitchen. Absolutely great location right next to the Village, and bowling alley. All the staff is very welcoming, and you cannot get a better price.

Just a beautiful place all together, the furniture and decor is very 70s/80s but in the most adorable and cabin vibe way, the staff is wonderful, and the views are to die for. Tons of access during storm, very close to snow resorts but has the BEST lake view.

Easy check into a beautiful condo with Lakeview. All staff was just fantastic. The condos are large with a living room, dining room, full kitchen and separate bedrooms with balcony or patio. Short drive to the village of Big Bear. The Lakeside hot tub is fantastic as is the recreation room with so much to do including Ping Pong, billiards, games. There is an indoor pool and hot tub as well. Just a marvelous place well done.
