I’m pretty sure someone spit in my food. I had lunch there yesterday. I ordered the Veal Marsala and a cup of minestrone soup. I usually love minestrone, but I tasted one spoonful and sent it back. The broth tasted bad. I switched it out for the chicken pasta soup, which was adequate, but it had the bland taste of something from a Campbell’s can. My veal dish seemed OK, although nothing to rave about. There was a spot in the sauce that looked a bit frothy and I thought maybe there was some fat from the veal under there. When it was in my mouth, the texture felt wrong and was nothing like the rest of the sauce. I should have spit it out, but I swallowed by reflex, and I had a sick feeling that someone spit or blew their nose into my food, and I had just eaten it. I didn’t say anything to my waitress because I was afraid of seeming paranoid, but I thought, “I guess I’ll know for sure if I get sick.” The incubation period for a cold is only 1-3 days. Sure enough, this evening I started to get a runny nose and a sore throat. I can’t prove it, but I am pretty darn sure that someone messed with my food. I have never had anything with a texture like that in a Marsala sauce before. I’m an Italian from NY; I’ve been eating Italian food my whole life. So, at best this is overpriced mediocre food, and at worst, there is a health issue. I will never eat here again.

We came here for the let's dinner out dinner club event and it was a success. The minestrone soup was excellent and very hearty. The pizza dough was well cooked but not burnt. All sauces were flavorful but not oily. All the pasta was cooked properly. Overall a very enjoyable experience and we will be back very soon. The owner was very nice.

The shrimp scampi was amazing, bursting with lemon flavors. Enjoyed the chicken genovese, the pesto flavor was wonderful. Loved the music, nice accompaniment. Deserts were lovely as well.

Called in to order over priced Italian food (the only Italian food in Elsinore) and was told they're "NOT DOING TAKE OUT TONIGHT." In the age of Covid and I gotta sit in the restaurant to eat? WTF!?

Okay some time has passed since then and here is an update. My wife and I stopped in to have dinner and started with the Vincenzo's Bread
and Salsa. You have to try it. The bread is freshly baked sourdough with with thier signature Salsa Cruda. I ate too much bread. I had the salad with blue cheese dressing, my wife had the pesto dressing (too oily). The spaghetti with meat sauce and sausage was delicious. The portions are big. The server Heather was very helpful and kind. We really enjoyed our visit and will come back again. I can now recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Dinner with my wife and son. We shared the Bruschetta. My wife had the Sicilian Lemon Drop. Me and my son had the Chicken Pasta Cup each. He had the Orecchiette Pugliesi I had Spahetti w/Meatballs. My wife had Gamberini Con Prosciuto and Tequila Sauce. All of it was delicious! Marcus was our server and he was excellent! The Salsa Cruda is still delicious with the garlic bread.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Vincenzo's Olive Tree, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. From the moment I tasted the marinara sauce with the complimentary bread, I knew I was in for a treat. The flavors were rich, vibrant, and simply exquisite.

I opted for the capellini primavera, and it surpassed all my expectations. The dish was bursting with fresh, seasonal vegetables and perfectly cooked pasta – a true celebration of flavors and textures.

My family also enjoyed their meals immensely. The fettuccine genovese, penne calebrese, and chicken spinach cannelloni were all met with resounding approval. Each dish was expertly prepared, showcasing the chef's skill and dedication to quality ingredients.

Overall, our dining experience at Vincenzo's Olive Tree was nothing short of amazing. The food was exceptional, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Vincenzo's Olive Tree has truly set the bar high when it comes to authentic Italian cuisine. We can't wait to return and savor more of their delicious offerings.

Haven’t been here in years. Heard it changed owners a few years ago so wanted to try.

The menu is new from before but the inside and out are exactly the same. Time for a change and step it up. Menu is good and we enjoyed our food. Wait staff were great and we will try again.

A quaint Italian place whose full and decor will have you coming back for seconds.
We stumbled upon this place near the mall, and figured another Italian place; why not.
The inside is full of murals and art of Italy, it’s small but perfect atmosphere for dinner.
It was fairly busy, but they managed to seat us right away. The service was great and they always checked on us thru our. Their prices on their simple but great menu was completely reasonable.
We ordered some wine and champagne, and had our soups first.
The minestrone and the clam chowder were delicious and a great way to start off dinner and drinks.
For dinner we ordered the linguine and gnocchi both you can add meats and sauces too; which we did.
Both entrees were amazing and delicious, mouth watering and hit the spot. We had plenty enough to take home even after we filled up; the perfect portions.
Check this place out if you ever in the area, this place is a little slice of Italy heaven!

This restaurant used to have the best minestrone soup it was vey tasty. I ordered take out today and they must have new owners. The soup was terrible it was like a pinto bean soup and had no flavor it was $8.00 and the garlic bread had no flavor and for a tiny piece of bread it was a $1.00. Very disappointed, I would never eat there again. It has to be new owners the original owners were from Italy and food always taste amazing.
