Truly excellent service from start to finish. We got married on the de Young Museum terrace (which was beautiful but extraordinarily complicated given the nature of the venue—members of their staff were so kind and flexible but many others were borderline hostile; I can't recommend it). Grace Street was the core of our wedding as they handled catering, rentals, and setup for both the reception and ceremony.

Cynthia helped us understand the rental and catering proposal and process upfront. We had no idea what we were doing as we didn't have a planner until early much later in the process. She was never bothered by our questions.

Will made himself fully available as we finalized our rental order. He was not only responsive but full of ideas about how to execute the event well. He acted like a partner in our planning, which we desperately needed given his experience at our unique venue.

The team set the space up in record time (as required by the venue) without sacrificing quality.

The food was INCREDIBLE—even better than we remembered from the tasting. We have received rave reviews about both appetizers and entrees from our family and friends (tough critics).

I would so happily work with them again.

Choosing Grace Street Catering for our wedding was the best choice.
Let me start from the beginning:

1) Tasting
- We did the tasting about 4 months before the ceremony. We tried many different menus and asked for small requests such as reducing salt or sugar, or adding more sides that go well with the main dishes. Since we couldn't do the 2nd tasting, we were a bit worried if our requests would be applied, but they delivered them perfectly.

2) Our menu - Family Style Dinner
- Although all of our guests enjoyed their food, a few menu stood out based on their feedback.
- Asian Pear Salad with Candied Almonds : this was the best salad I've ever had. Many of our guests asked for more, and if this menu is available, you should definitely give it a try
- Braised Boneless Short Ribs: They were perfect. We only had a few pieces of leftover, which we took them with us to the airport for our honeymoon.
- Other menus: Torched Halibut, Seasonal Ravioli, Seasonal Vegetables -- Very good!

3) Communication & Service
- Timely communication could be improved. They delivered everything that we asked for, but there were a few times when we didn't hear back from them for more than a week, which made us a bit anxious as the date was approaching.
- Service was a top notch. We decided to provide our own alcohol and had them delivered to their location. They were all brought to the wedding, beers were cold, and wines were well prepared.
- Their staff was also very friendly and coordinated everything from setting up tables to cleaning up.

We know that Grace Street also caters for corporate events and more, and I will definitely choose them for our company event if we happen to have one in the future. (and for an obvious reason, I don't think I will hire them again for another wedding :0)

Thanks to the chef, Chris, Jen, and all staff who made our wedding the most special day of our lives.

Grace Street careered our wedding in San Francisco and it was an absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. Chelsea was our guide through the entire wedding planning process. She was organized, responsive, and incredibly blunt/receptive to feedback.

Of course the food was amazing too. We got five appetizers, did a family-style meal, and even got our cake through them. Each of the courses tasted delicious and were executed beautifully. Would highly recommend them to anyone getting married in the bay area.

This catering company fed us a 4 Star dinner while we attended Scott Silver performing as the Illusionist at The Illusionist Dinner. Paired entrees with single malt whiskey, aged to perfection!

Everything goes well and all I remember is the great food. good job
