Location really makes this place. Walking distance from some amazing views, room is clean and very nice. Owner is very nice and hospitable. Great room especially for the price. Smart TV.

I stayed at this motel because my home had a gas leak so I had no heat or hot water until the gas line was repaired. It's down the street from my home and arrived on November 29, 2024 and expected to stay until December 2nd unless the repair was completed and my gas turned on before that date. The inn keeper said he would leave the room as it is as there is no housekeeping over the weekend. He sent the invoice and billed me for four nights. He said there was nothing he could do to credit me for the fourth night that I didn't stay. I asked for the corporate phone number which he said he didn't have and only an email which he could not give me. I'm filing a police report with the Laguna Beach Police Department.

I cannot say enough how much my friend and I enjoyed our stay here! The staff was so polite and helpful from the start and made sure we had everything we needed, such as towels and cutlery. They have beach chairs and toys that guests are able to take down to the beach which was super convenient. We had an ocean view room and absolutely loved our view! The only con was the air conditioning at some points, but it was definitely manageable and would kick in after a bit. I plan on staying here again next time I visit, as the value simply cannot be beat and it's such a great location with the area having lots to offer!

This hotel has outstanding management with a personal touch and is conveniently located and well-priced. I accidently left my watch next to the room safe. (It was black on a black surface and hard to see.) I phoned the manager after returning home and told him I thought I had left it. The watch was found by another guest a couple of days later. The manager asked me to email a label and he sent it back to me immediately!||Besides the excellent service, the hotel has newly remodeled rooms and is quiet. It is only a couple of blocks from my favorite beach in Laguna, and only a short drive or 20+ minute walk from downtown.

Sal checked me in and took the time to show me how to walk down to the beach, where a good vista point was and pointed out some things I was looking for- I was there an hour early and was able to check in and wait for a call that the room was ready promptly at 3 (which is much earlier than the usual 4 I see most places).
Walking into the room I was really happy it, had really nice vanity lighting, a couch, nice spaces to stash bags and un pack. Was super happy to have a min fridge, microwave and a Keurig in the room. Felt very clean to me, there's wear on some of the furniture, fixtures and a ding or two in the wall- for me, that's not the kind of stuff that would bother me at all.
The room felt safe, had food AC, lots of channels on the TV and I didn't really hear anyone else around me. I was facing away from the highway I imagine that helps.
In terms of town/distance to things. I was very happy to have the convenience store right there, they stay open until 2am quite often- looks a lil rough on the outside, but I felt safe there alone as a single female in my 30s. The beach is SO close and way less busy. I took a hike up from the neighborhood at "gate 14" enjoyed that. Also downtown is like 1 mile away. I walked most of the time along cliff drive or id Uber for about 8-15 one way. SNA airport is about a 30-40 Uber ride away.
Overall, I felt really safe here and like the owners truly want to make sure you have everything you need.

This hotel is truly exceptional! You can't find a better place to stay in Laguna. The price is very reasonable for the value you receive, and the location is absolutely perfect, providing easy access to all the local attractions.

Sal, the owner, is phenomenal. He goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay is as welcoming and comfortable as possible. His hospitality really sets this hotel apart from others.

The only downside I experienced was with the air conditioning, which was a bit inconsistent and didn't cool the room as effectively as I would have liked. Nonetheless, this minor issue did not overshadow the overall wonderful experience at this hotel.

Great location with parking included which was huge for the proximity to the beach. The walk to the beach is about 5-10min. You have to walk down a mild-moderate dirt hill, through a mini tree tunnel, down a short stretch of road, then down the stairs to the main Crescent Bay beach. It’s about a 25min walk to Downtown and there are two tram stops about a 5-8 min downhill walk from the Inn.

The staff were great and very personable and helpful! They have free water in the office and they have some beach chairs, umbrellas, bodyboards, and beach towels.

Beds were comfy, fridge and microwave worked well, AC was in a bit of a weird location partially blocked by the fridge but it worked well. Would definitely stay here again!

Of note- be careful exiting the parking lot, the road/curb to the main road is a little weird so it’s easy to scrap a low car undercarriage.
