We stayed here for almost 2 weeks when we had to vacate our home in a nearby community. This adorable beachy hotel quickly became our home away from home. The rooms were recently remodeled and have a soft contemporary look. We appreciated the thoughtful in-room amenities like the air purifier and yoga mat. The staff is wonderful, very helpful and available by text. The location is great, walking distance to shopping and restaurants and most importantly, the beach is right in front of the hotel. I loved sitting on the common area patio and watching the surf. I also enjoyed a cup of their freshly brewed coffee each morning from the lobby, and the hot tub was a nice amenity to have too. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay and ocean view! The property is directly by the beach (just a 2 min. walk down a private path). There are multiple gorgeous, landscaped terraces - perfect for taking in pretty California sunsets. The staff were friendly and extrely helpful, especially Gabe and Brady. The sofa bed in 507 was a bit wonky and the heater wasn't 100% working but when we notified staff they kindly refunded the valet parking fee and shared they had plans to fix this. ||We also enjoyed the hot tub and landscaped pool area, along with the vibrant but reasonably quiet neighborhood. We hope to come back!

The staff was super friendly and nice. They made us feel at home on the beach. The rooms were very nice and made us want to never leave the comfy rooms and listening to the waves rolling down below. The fresh coffee every morning was wonderful. Grab a bag on the way out.

I stayed here with my mom and sister for a girl’s weekend away. Everything was amazing from start to end. Upon arrival- Aiden the valet was so friendly and welcoming. ||We had an ocean view 1 bedroom suite (suitable for 2-4 people). The living room was simple, but spacious and comfortable. There was a kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave and coffee maker. Bedroom was good sized with a queen bed. Bathroom was clean and features Further soap and lotion. ||Just outside the room is a balcony with 2 chaise lounges, cafe table and 4 chairs. Perfect for having breakfast and gazing at the ocean! ||Just a short walk from my room were fire pits with cozy seating and ocean views. ||I plan to return with my family of 4. There are a variety of rooms suitable for couples or families. Great place for a romantic getaway

They were so kind to us. We were displaced and had to evacuate LA due to LA fires. They were super accommodating so kind helped us with whatever we needed. Great location, beautiful the owners are really kind and sweet. Have nothing bad to say about this place. Great energy. The only thing I would say is to bring a laptop or a tablet because there’s no TV but that’s the only thing I have to say that’s not five star treatment.Beautiful views! I would stay there again, also pet friendly and they have Valet parking.

My family stayed here over the long weekend and had two incredible unobstructed view ocean front rooms, felt like we were going to sleep and waking up right to the sounds of the ocean, it was perfect. We have been going to this hotel for years and we were happy to see the new updated changes to the hotel rooms with the new ownership. The aesthetic was beautiful and the rooms were so comfy. And the valet staff and checkin staff - Juanita, Wren, Brody, Tyson, Gabe, and Kyle - were all so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back !!

I had stayed in this resort 35 years ago under different ownership. Loved it then and love it now. Fabulous room decor. Unreal views. Nicest staff! Shout out to Gabe, Brody and Kyle for making our stay the best . We will definitely be back on our next Southern Cal vacay!

Visiting from Colorado and first time at Laguna Surf Lodge. We loved everything about it! Our room was remodeled beautifully and the bed was so comfy/ The location is close to all shops, restaurants and the grocery store. The views are just breathtaking. The beach is steps in front of you with chairs and towels available. The pool and hot tub were great. The hotel staff are accommodating and friendly. Spectacular place. We will be back annually and next year with friends!
