We stopped by The Girl & The Fig for brunch, and it was an all-around wonderful experience. The atmosphere was charming, and we especially loved the beautiful outdoor seating in the back—it made for such a relaxing meal.

The food was excellent! The mushroom risotto was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, but the real standout for me was the chicken thighs—a simple yet perfectly executed dish with crispy skin and juicy, tender meat.

What truly made our visit exceptional was the amazing service. Our server (I wish I could remember her name!) went above and beyond—she was incredibly kind, attentive, and so accommodating, especially with the four kids in our already large party. It made all the difference and made us feel so welcomed. She was the real MVP!!

Highly recommend The Girl & The Fig for a fantastic brunch, great food, and top-notch hospitality! Can’t wait to return.

Went for a quick bite - order beef tartare, quiche arugula, special soup of the day closing the meal with their chocolate cake. Would highly recommend to people to try. Service was a bit slow but food is great.

Food was decent

Steak tartare was great. Had a rich textural experience. Went well with the mustard. Not much with the provided salt.

Duck confit was partially dry. It was only saved by the accompaniments. Went very well together. But by itself, had better.

Wonderful dinner experience at the girl & the fig! The tomato soup of the day was perfection. Highly recommend the fig and pork belly sandwich. The butternut squash was cooked to perfection. The drink menu really has something for everyone, even delicious mocktails. I appreciated the special touches for my birthday. We had exceptional service!

This is my second time coming here and it was good, but not as good as it tasted as it was a few years ago. Service was great and the atmosphere was cozy and warm. We luckily got a table without a reservation and it's probably because it was way past noon. I ordered the Soup of the Day, which was a Turkey Chowder, the Duck Confit, and the Fig and Arugula Salad. The Soup was good. I didn't know what protein was in the soup when ordering, but guessed it correctly. The Salad came out split in half and the portions were huge! Nice salad, but the figs were dried and not fresh (not in season 🤷🏻‍♂️) and so it was not that tasty. The pancetta was hard and flavorless. The coating of the dressing was very even and not heavy, but it could have been a little more moist. Overall the salad was dry IMHO. The Duck Confit was good but it felt dry to me without the sauce, but with the sauce it was better. What shines on this dish was the farro and celery root puree. This is definitely a nice place, but the food fell flat for me on this trip. Come check it out and see what you think!

Came for brunch on my birthday 9/9 and I am so happy we did!! Our experience was definitely 10/10!! I ordered an espresso martini my way, and the bartender executed the cocktail perfectly! Start with the cariar dip and pork belly/Gruyère omelette (the dip was soo good and I’ve never had an omelette so fluffy in my life) we also got the cheeseburger (which my husband devoured) and the flounder dish (I have a gluten allergy, and they were graciously accommodating). Our waiter was outstanding, and to top it off, Kim came around and made our already amazing experience even better! This was our first visit, but now The Girl & The Fig has made its way on our go to Napa/Sonoma list every time we are there! I can’t wait to go back!

The girl & the fig is a popular Sonoma restaurant known for its French-inspired cuisine and unique dining experience. The charming antique bar serves French aperitifs, classic and creative cocktails, and an impressive wine list. This time, we visited for lunch, so we shared the grilled cheese sandwich, their famous quiche Lorraine, the butter lettuce salad, and a couple of smashed cheeseburgers—all delicious! I’d love to return with my husband for dinner on our next trip to the Napa/Sonoma area.

I have been wanting to come to this restaurant for a very long time. I was not at all disappointed the food, the atmosphere, the wine selection, was all great but I must admit that the service was best of all. Thank you for providing us with such an amazing experience! We are here for a long weekend and it will be hard to not come back before we leave even though we want to try some other restaurants.
