It’s actually not too bad. The owner has hearing issues so you’ll need to speak slower and louder. But he’s nice. The room was clean and well maintained for the most part, bed is soft, shower works well. BUT the owners need to work on the furnishing and interior designing. The room doesn’t give an European vibe, they just stacked a bunch of old stuff on top of each other and called it European style. They can easily charge double the price if they just work a little bit on that. The place naturally gives out a haunted vibe without needing silly fluffy spiders or fake skeletons. If you’re into these type of stuff definitely consider spending the night here.

The photos of this place do not do it justice. My girlfriend and I got to spend the night in a beautiful split level room located in one of the spires. The location is adjacent to nearly everything you could want to do in town. We were out so much we didn’t even get to enjoy the common room which actually looked like a lot of fun. We are definitely coming back.

We stayed for 2 nights in late October. We prepaid for the stay in full at the time of booking. A few days after check out there was a 200.00 charge from them on my credit card. After 3 emails to them with no response they blocked my email address. I am now disputing this with my credit card company. I have read similar reviews with these issues. I do not recommend

One of the most romantic hideaway places you may find in Lake arrowhead host were eccentric, but in a great way when it comes to united detail, you couldn’t find a better place. Enjoy your time here. Let yourself be romantically wast away to a time before you couldn’t afford to get away.

This is a very old property, Charming in it's own way BUT not in ANY way handicapped accessible. My husband and I have mobility issues and getting from the parking lot to the room was a challenge. We stayed Villa Tuscana. The bed took up 3/4 of the main floor. It was about 4 feet high and accessed via a small step stool that made me a tad nervous ( we are NOT small people and I am a wee bit unsteady) I did not climb the circular staircase to look at the loft, but my friend who stayed in that room had no complaints.|It was hot. There is no AC downstairs ( ok it's an OLD building) just fans. On the plus side, once you got in, the bed was comfortable, there was a whirlpool tub and a window that could be a reading nook. This is a wonderful place for people who are about 30 years younger than I am. There was coffee in the Great Room, but I could not find sugar or creamer. Charming altogether, but not a place we will return to. I am NOT saying they need to be forced to change anything, but it would have been nice to know at the outset that there were nothing but stairs everywhere.

We rented the wine cellar for three nights, and while the location offered an incredible view and comfortable beds with good TV amenities, I was quite dissatisfied with many aspects of our stay.

Upon entering, I immediately noticed that the room was dusty, particularly the bed stands, and spiderwebs were present throughout. I discovered six cellar spiders in the shower and numerous others in the corners of the room. Despite the manager's claim that she had used an entire can of bug spray, the presence of so many spiders was concerning. Additionally, there was dirt on the floor, giving the impression that the room had not been cleaned for several days.

The bathroom blinds were broken, leaving no effective way to block the window, which compromised our privacy. Furthermore, the individuals who checked us in lived above us, and during the night, we could hear their conversations and footsteps, which made it difficult to sleep. Lastly, the door locks for the bathroom and the rooms were not functioning properly.

Overall, while the view was stunning and the location convenient with Lake Arrowhead just three minutes away and offering great restaurants and stores, the accommodations left much to be desired.

We loved our stay so much we are returning in 2 weeks, with the larger suites booked!||I booked 3 rooms for my parents, my cousins and myself for a Lake Arrowhead Village concert. Only $79 a night! Unheard of on this mountain!||Delighted by the historical charm: think of touring then staying at an inn that goes back to 1915. Antiques everywhere! Whimsical garden areas to hang out in. And all the suites include access to the Great Room (half the lower level of the entire inn) along with a full kitchen and 2 dining areas. We split our time between the Great Room and the garden and the deck, right outside our rooms. ||They have an earlier 2pm check in time than the most. ||If you go: know that you end up parking in the back of the inn, which you access by turning right when you get to the Lake Arrowhead Fire Station along HWY 173, coming in from HWY 18. So save yourself some time and google the address: 247 Mittry Drive. Park there and the owner's residence which is the top half of another entire home/inn is right there. You will want to call (909)337-8178 and tell them when you arrive and will be checking in. Isadora will give you a tour of the property and explain how to use and access the Great Room, kitchen, breakfast bar and more. There is a double Keurig machine that makes a whole pot or individual cups of coffee. (To make it start: push the "oz." on the top left of the machine, and then the size of your mug below.) There's also oatmeal, lots of teas, lots of coffee pods, and all the coffee creamers and breakfast items in the fridge.||Don't expect a larger room if you book the queen rooms that sleep 2. You'll get two chairs and a bed, a fireplace heater, an antique armoire, a bathroom and tv. The rooms are small, but you have access to the entire 1st floor! Every room has its own charm. For our second visit, we are booking their 2 queen bed suites that include a sofa area separate or a loft and outdoor sitting area. It's only $139 per night! No resort fees!||I encourage you to book directly on the hotel's website rather than 3rd party. There are no refunds once booked. ||One other thing: there are a lot of steps to climb! This may not be the best choice if you cannot soberly climb stairs that are a bit "uneven". ||All of us were so pleased with our stay, except for the black eye I got when I tripped going up the steps, that we are thinking about hosting our next family reunion for my dad's 90th birthday there and booking the entire inn.
