BEWARE!!!
Just stayed here last night. Room was in poor conditions. Lock was broken in the front door. Dry rot in the bathroom. Mice droppings in the coffee maker. Mice was found in the morning. One of the worse stays at a hotel I’ve ever had. Would like a refund for the time wasted here. Would have been nicer to sleep in my car. I never write reviews and like the give benefit of the doubt but this place is not safe for folks to stay in

Very clean room only thing is the shower head didn't work only the bottom one. Also the last hour I was there electricity went out but the breakfast was good

A dump. Looks nothing like the pictures. Whole place is run down and not much of an attempt has been made to keep it up. Breakfast is cheap carbs. Gym, everything looks broken.
Has the feel of homeless housing. Beds are rock hard. Feels like you are sleeping on plywood- my back is now killing me. Furniture looks like throwaways on the street. Check in and there are a series of threats and 250 dollar holds put on your credit card, Of course, THEY take no responsibility for anything. And it shows. It's not had a proper cleaning in ages. Cobwebs and dead insects in the windows, in the lights, etc. Open your window and you are greeted with pot or cigarette smoke. I'd never stay here again - frankly will avoid the whole ABVI chain. Some of the clientele - on their way to their last meth trips.
Gotta say the lady at reception was nice.

Positive: The hotel and room aren't as fancy as others, but the cleanliness and hospitality made this a comfortable stay. Plus, it's close to everything in Novato, and it's right near 101. Negative: The lighting in the room was dim. Also, I wish there was a help sign for the door lock to the adjoining room. I wanted to be sure that door was locked.

I stayed at this hotel that I've patronized many, many times in the past. Upon check-in I was informed that I needed to pay a $60 fee for a prior stay due to a burnt bedsheet. There are a few major redflags with this:
-I don't smoke
-They allege this was from an incident that occurred in 2021.
-They have been unable to produce a photo of the alleged damage.
-I attempted to call the owner, Jason - but he never returned my call after we spoke on the phone about the incident.
I was given the ultimatum that if I didn't pay this fee, I wouldn't be able to check-in to the hotel. It was late in the evening and I had no other choice, so I payed the money and checked into the hotel. Attempts to dispute the charge with my credit card were unsuccessful and I am filing this complaint with the BBB in hopes of getting the money I was assessed for damage that I didn't cause.
