A wonderful remote corner of LA that is a soulful getaway into the woods. I discovered the lake trail and walked it over the 3 days. My kids love the free tea station. We enjoyed the breakfast and fun dishes served daily. I really like the lobby with fireplaces during the day to work or play games at night. The pool and all the ground activities are super cool too as there is something for everyone. Thank you to the very sweet and caring staff! Everyone can't wait to come back!

Excellent customer service. The staff were all very friendly. Very quick and easy check-in. There were lots of amenities to enjoy. Each meal was excellent. There were a nice variety of healthy food options to choose from. The rooms were cozy and well maintained. It was an enjoyable experience.

Adorable little chalet! The remodeled bathroom was nice, clean, and well-maintained. The heater made the second floor so warm that we didn’t even need a comforter. Since we visited in February, we couldn’t use the outdoor pool, and the hot tub has a minimum age requirement of 16.

Had a very nice time here. It's a cozy and fun, family-friendly place with lots of cool amenities. My girlfriend and I had breakfast and did not regret paying for it, meanwhile we hit up the Tavern for a late lunch and dinner.
The cabins are very cozy and comfy with the main lodge/lobby being a nice gathering place to socialize and people watch.
I found the cabins to be a great value, especially for groups.

I look forward to inquiring about hosting a conference here.

We had a wonderful time here. Beautiful location. Lovely room, warm and friendly staff. We left a baby monitor there and they called and mailed it back to us the next day! I am so pleased with our weekend up there and will be coming back for many more stays. Thank you.

The accommodation was very cosy and clean. It was snowing when I arrived so it was wonderful to be able to light the fire every night in the cabin. Food was outstanding and always had great vegan options, plus the chefs were flexible and open to tweaking things for allergies etc.

They are very unprepared for even basic hospitality and assisting guests. Power was out due to fires. They had no list of restaurants that have back-up generators, even though they said it happens frequently. When I got a flat tire, they had no idea who could fix it locally. The dining room serves food that caters to 10% of population - no food for kids. No burgers or snacking foods. No TV's in any room. They said "25% of our guests are students & we feel TV is a distraction for them" - what about the other 75%? Was charged Resort Fee for hot tub & fitness center - even though they were unavailable 1st day. 2nd day, 14 teens took over the hot tub & fitness room. When I went to front desk to remind them that posted signs say 8 people max & must be over 18, the clerk said "I know, right?'
