This place has no staff on site and is more like a vacation rental. We were assigned room #1 (ground floor). When entering the room, we were happy to see the room that was nicely renovated. ||However, we heard a lot of footsteps from above us. The ceiling material (Or floor on the 2nd floor) of this property must be very thin. We thought the young family above our room would sleep eartly so it would not be a major issue. Unfortunately, the family let their kids stay up late and run in the room. After the quiet time (the hotel policy is after 10pm), their kids was still running in the room and woke us up several times. I understand that controlling little kids during vacation can be tough. but I wished their room would have assigned on the ground floor and our room could have been on the 2nd floor!! ||Another issue was the bathroom. It seems difficlut to use shower becase there was no tub or a floor divider between toilet area and shower area. The glass wall between the toilet and shower is too small. If you take a shower there, water will be all over the floor around the toilet. Overall our experience, I would not stay this place anymore.

We stayed in King Suite Room 1. Everything was perfect! We had a living area with a comfortable sectional and nice sized TV as well as a very functional kitchen and a separate bedroom and bathroom. The suite is tastefully decorated and very comfortable! Ideal for 2 people! Thanks for a pleasant experience!

The Kingsley is the perfect modern mountain getaway spot. We loved using the shared space and playing the amazing games provided. The hosts are very reliable and available for any questions. It is just a 3-5 minute walk from the village. The whole vibe of the place is cozy and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

I recently stayed at the Kingsley Hotel, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. When we arrived, they told us our room was ready, but when we opened the door, we were horrified to find the room hadn't been cleaned at all. Towels were scattered on the floor, the toilet seat was up, there was food on the counter, and the bed was unmade. It was disgusting.

We had to wait over an hour for housekeeping to clean the room, even though the manager had assured us it would only take 30 minutes. No one even bothered to alert us when the room was finally ready – we had to keep checking on the room ourselves.

To make matters worse, after our stay, I called the hotel to express my disappointment and hoped for some kind of resolution. Instead, I was met with excuses and a completely vile attitude from the property manager. I’ve never been treated with such disrespect, especially from someone in charge of a hotel.

The location of the Kingsley Hotel might have been great, but after this experience, I would NEVER stay here again. The service was awful, the room was filthy, and the manager's response to a legitimate complaint was appalling. Save your money and go somewhere else.

This is really more of an AirBnb being advertised as a hotel. We paid quite a bit of money to essentially rent a room in a house. They did a great job of decorating, the rooms are very cute and well designed. Our room was clean. The room had a blow dryer, steamer and an iron, the snacks and drinks were reasonably priced, and a Keurig and K-Cups in the room. ||The water from the shower isn’t well contained, requires multiple mats to keep it from leaking onto the floor - not a big deal just a bad design. ||There is no lobby, no staff, no amenities. I would say overall it’s advertised as something it most certainly is not. It would be fun to rent the entire place for a party or larger group, if you’re planning on cooking for yourself and want everyone to be close. I did not feel it was a good location for a couple’s getaway.

We stayed in a studio room for a weekend trip and would give the experience a 7/10. One point docked off because we were a little confused trying to find our room and would have been walking around in the cold if we hadn’t come upon an employee who happened to be outside at the same time. Another point off because the shower situation needs serious work. Water gets splattered all over the floor because there is one small glass wall, a shower curtain, and a small lip on the floor that does little to keep the water in. Another point docked off because we randomly got locked out of our room because the keypad reset while we were out and we had to call the host while standing out in the cold at night trying to get it fixed. Also, the walls are very thin and we could hear the people in the room next to us very often. I’m not sure if I’d stay here again, the room was nice enough and the hotel itself is well located but all of these things really put me off.

My husband & I recently stayed here, & upon arrival, we instantly adored the place. Such a beautiful drive up, it's a whole vibe! We loved how quiet & intimate it was, & how everything was set up, w/ a few seating areas to enjoy outside your room w/ friends/family. The check-in process was smooth & efficient. All of it was done through texts, so there was no hassle w/ reservations or front desk.

The room itself was well-appointed, w/ all the amenities we'd need for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring we got a great night's sleep.

We particularly enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen on-site that also featured a dining area, a fireplace & a couch, making it the perfect place to share meals + make memories.

Overall, our stay at The Kingsley Hotel exceeded our expectations for hotels, & we stay at a lot of them. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable & enjoyable stay. We will definitely be returning when we visit Lake Arrowhead again.

We were very disappointed in our stay. We had two connecting rooms—both queen beds. First, the beds aren’t queens. They say they are, but we have queens at home, and these were soooooo tight. Second, the floors were disgusting. One of our family members wore socks in her room, and the bottom of the socks were black. There were clumps of hair on the floor. Also, the doors kept locking us out. And bc there isn’t a reception or lobby, you have to call and then wait for someone to call you back. WiFi went out. (Note: they said this is common for the area, and is also the reason we got locked out. But if that’s the case, then you should tell your patrons that the WiFi isn’t reliable, and that it could cause them to be locked out). Remote didn’t work. No microwave. Showers were tiny and flooded the bathroom every time you showered. And worst of all, the fridge didn’t work, which meant all the formula and milk we brought for our newborn was compromised. Huge waste of money. Very frustrating.
