We came to this branch to deal with both car insurance as well as homeowner insurance policy needs and questions. We were promptly and greeted with a big smile from both receptionists and quickly checked in and advised where to wait for our service advisor. Because it was quite busy (we were there around lunch time) the lady who checked us in did give us updates a few times as to where we were on the waitlist but surprisingly we were seen within 10 minutes of first arriving. Our advisor came out to get us from waiting area and like his other colleagues was kind kind and cheerful. He quickly figured out what the issue was with our 2 policies and was able to make corrections. We were back in our cars in under 25 minutes with all of our questions and concerns dealt with.

Going on a 2 hour wait to get a handicap sign! Sat next to Mary Morgan Browns cubicle and got to hear her calling a friend to let them know about a Donald plunger shoe sale!!! Way too loud and non work related!! Meanwhile people are waiting and waiting! Heard the take in person tell several people needing to see the cashier that she would be back from lunch in 10 minuets and to wait, only to have her come back and set her “be back” sign for another 30 minuets!! Next time we need DMV service we will go to the real DMV, where we can make an appointment and get in and out!! So much incompetence here!

Went in to this location today to transfer my car registration from Texas to California. I wish I’d gotten the ladies name who helped me but I didn’t unfortunately. She was extremely kind and patient and made a process that I’ve been dreading go smoothly. If you want to avoid the DMV come here. Everyone I interacted with was great and I left thinking this one visit made the membership fee worth it.

I was surprised and disappointed with the experience I just had at AAA. I went to renew tags and transfer title with my mother in law. The lady who was assisting us was not friendly, and told us how difficult our transactions were going to be. She offered no resolution or better way to handle the paperwork so we had to guess at it. She was not friendly, and seemed barely professional. I was sad because honestly this was the first time Ive been to this location. It will probably be the last.

I buy and sell a lot of motorcycles, not as a business, more of an obsession. Anyway I always go to the Auto Club office in La Quinta to register them. Everyone is always extremely helpful, and if you go close to their opening time of 9 am you can usually get in quickly. Last week I wanted to register an out-of-state motorcycle, which means it has to be brought there in person so they can verify the VIN number along with the engine number and frame number. Many, many thanks to Denean Laitinen and Zach who came out in the sun to search the bike for these rather obscure numbers. Zach was very creative with finding and reading the engine number, which was buried under wires and frame arms. They were both super-friendly and helpful and we were all almost enjoying the process. This is a wonderful service and I for one appreciate it, and the staff greatly!

AAA claims MANAGER says police report mentioned speeding so they had to raise my rates even though my wife was NOT at fault in a HIT AND RUN accident. I spent 8 hours today calling around getting quotes from other insurance companies and Geico and Progressive both agreed that because the other driver fled the scene that she is not at fault. The police officer should not have mentioned key word "speeding" at all, in the accident report, since the posted speed limit was 45mph and she was doing 45 at most, which was also mentioned in the police report. I believe AAA is scamming people at this point. They owe me back pay for overpaying since August 2023.

I now have insurance from Progressive at $133 per month VS. AAA was billing me at $350 per month after the accident (i unfortunately dont have the original amount they quoted me on the replacement vehicle at the time of purchase but if i remember correctly, it was around $170 before they raised it)
