This place is strange to rate. We rented three homes for an office retreat. The homes look fantastic from the outside. But inside you can feel like the quality of materials and fixtures is a little off. Some of the rooms had tvs, while others did not. The wifi was absolutely brutal, and the only marginally better than the WiFi at PSP airport (which might as well not be a thing). Our bbq failed to get past 300^, but luckily we had multiple houses so we were able to grab the one from next door. Nothing terribly wrong at all, but at the price for these homes I would expect as close to perfection as possible. The landscaping crews keep the properties looking top notch, but be ready for them to plan their activities extremely early in the morning near your room. Location is cool, near the polo fields which is pretty neat to wander over to go and check out. But be aware that if they are cleaning the stables you'll get some pretty strong barnyard smell wafting over especially if you are in the houses backing onto Madison. If you're a golfer, this location is a very quick ride from top notch courses so that is a good thing. Shopping is close by for anything you could need. All in all a good experience, just a few things keep it from being perfect.

I’ll start off by saying this place is BEAUTIFUL!! We stayed in House #17 for the week and loved it. It gets lots of sun, which brings me to so points that anyone should be aware of for a summertime stay.

The room a/c’s get keep the temps comfortable but the main space a/c had a lot of trouble keeping up. In the afternoon and evenings it would not get below 80-85 in the space which is nice coming from 115 degrees outside but once you acclimate, it’s rather warm.

Some of the kitchen drawers were broken.

There were scuffs on the walls and the worst part was being awaken by crickets in your room. However we called and the pest control came out right away but there were still some l stranglers we had to stomp out.

The grill was full of old grease and soot which almost ruined one nights dinner. It needs to be cleaned more often and you will bake while using it because of the afternoon sun. Maybe they could install misters to help.

Ok, enough of the bad now the good…
Kitchen is amazing! Fully stocked, lovely high end appliances, large island for eating and gathering.

The pool was awesome. It was maintained 3 times while we were there (Mon, Wed and Fri). The landscaping is perfect for the desert.

All the rooms were a good size with their own bathrooms, which made our guest super happy. Only slept in one bed but it was very comfortable. Smart TV’s in every room. Walk in showers and the master had a wet room.

Sonos music system but we had trouble connecting. It’s a little weird. So we just played music from the TV’s and you need the Sonos app.

Amazing outdoor space but a little hot for gathering but again it’s the summer so we understood that. Maybe some type of sun shade would help.

Communication with AvantStay was great. They sent texts checking in on us and were really attentive to our needs.

Overall everyone had a great time and we’re definitely going back next year and maybe renting 2 houses because they have gates that easily connect the backyards.

Large family reunion of 21 people in 2 houses side by side at Polo Villas was great. The houses are beautiful, spacious and nicely set up, definitely higher quality rental. Note: One bedroom has bunk beds with full under and twin above plus an extra twin on side, perfect for little kids to sleep together. Pool and spa are terrific after a morning of hiking. We can cook, feed everyone and play games in one house. House is spacious enough that we don't feel like people are sitting on each other. Kitchen well stocked, including dish soap, dishwasher soap, foil, plastic wrap, zip lock bags, and plastic storage containers which were really helpful, but we brought extra pans for baking and other large dinners that we knew we wanted. They kindly put up a Christmas tree and decorations for us in each house which was a nice touch since everyone was missing being at home for Christmas. Yard is large with enough room to play short frisbee, let kids run around, nice pool and spa, lounge chairs perfect for sunning, and a grill! The e-systems were handy with so many people. And there were beach cruiser bikes in the garage. Great to bike down to Avenue 52 and into Old Town La Quinta. The ambitious ones biked to top of cove to meet us for hiking. Had a great time here and you will too.

Polo Villas is a beautiful oasis located in the beautiful city of La Quinta. These homes are truly a gem! The ultimate hang out house! I absolutely loved our stay here. It was a quaint and quiet neighborhood, nice landscaping and just what we were looking for when we booked. Booking was super easy and the communication throughout the whole the process was seamless. The decor is simple and clean with fun pops of color. The family room opens up to a HUGE backyard! The swimming pool was perfect to cool off and relax by and the jacuzzi was a perfect end cap. I loved that there there was plenty of room for our family and that we could be in the same room without feeling on top of each other. The kitchen was state of the art. Absolutely beautiful and it was great to cook some meals with the family! Everything we used that was supplied by the Villas was super clean and sanitary. I’m a nurse and a germ freak. Whoever is cleaning their homes does a great job of making sure everything is in top shape. They have a beautiful photo book that answers any questions you might have while you’re staying there, which my family completely appreciated. One of the best if not the best rentals we have stayed at! We loved that they had beach cruisers for us to ride and our family had some serious competitions of corn hole going. Other renters in the group of homes always seemed so friendly and just happy to be in a beautiful and serene rental. Whatever you guys are doing keep it up! Thank you for continuing to rent and allowing an escape for our family!!

My family and I recently stayed at the Polo Villas in La Quinta. This is the only place my family will stay in when we go out to the desert. I'll be honest, we tried other houses but have come to a conclusion that this is the best property in town! Everyone was so kind, helpful, and quick with all our questions. The house was beautiful and spotless when we got there. If you're looking for the perfect vacation, this where you need to go!

Oh, did I mention how huge the backyard is!? HUGE. BEAUTIFUL. 10/10 I recommend

Amazing house for a chill 30th Birthday Weekend

PROS
Brand new construction in a gated community of about 10-12 houses. House was stocked with everything from games, pool towels and floaties, and a kitchen stocked with all basic needs (seasonings, cookware, storage, and utintiles). House provided a great indoor outdoor flow.

We mostly hung out at the pool and the main living/dining space. Pool was a great size and had plenty of umbrellas to keep us cool in the 115 degree weather.

The Sonos speaker also was great. We were able to play music while eating dinner but also use it wipe we're in the pool.

CONS
Only one con to the house was not our door code kept getting changed around the begining of our stay. We were able to contact the company and get it fixed but that threw off the vibe a bit.

COMMUNICATION
Communication was great leading up to the trip. Since the owner is a vacation rental property manager they had to download their app to access the house rules and gate code right after booking. Only downside was communicating about the lock code. When I tried calling their designated customer service line noone picked up (waited around 15-20 mins) so I had to revert to emailing and messaging through Airbnb app after all. After a few hours we were able to get a new code sent.

Overall amazing house to entertain and have a great time in the Palm Springs area.

First time in Polo Villas for a family function. Beautiful place. Wonderful amenities. HOWEVER, if you leave something behind by mistake, and call them to look for the item and/or to return it, don’t expect to ever get it back! My husband left a pair of blue trousers in the closet....we didn’t realize it until 2 days after we’d left. I called the woman who had been my relative’s contact person. She very nicely said she’d contact the housekeeper for the house we were in and get back to me. I had to call back a few times until finally she said the housekeeper located some trousers and was going to take a picture of them and email it to me. I told them they were dark blue, cotton, size 34. Never got the picture. Next day or two the contact told me now the housekeeper is very busy and doesn’t know where the trousers are. I have called back a couple of times, left messages, no response.

I guess we’ll have to write off this pair of pants! It was a favorite pair of my husband’s, and now we’ll have to go and buy another pair.

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE LACK OF CONCERN/RESPONSE from these people.
