If you have kids and they love the pool, this is the place. Lovely relaxed Westin, it’s a Time Share resort but you can just book it regularly nightly. Lots of nice families having longer trips and all the rooms are basically condos. Nicely equipped with comfortable Westin beds. We have a toddler and infant so can’t do a traditional hotel room, this was a great fit. My toddler was obsessed with the pool and we had all the room we needed for the family. We didn’t eat at the onsite restaurant, but it’s easy to make quick lunches or dinners and or get delivery. Very relaxing trip, would go back. Lots of golf and tennis to enjoy as well.

We are ending a long, delightful stay. We are long-time owners, and the quality of the resort and individual units has, if anything, improved over the years. Many of the staff have been here for many years, and we are always happy to see them. Big shout out to Alex, who manages the activities, food and beverage service. Exceptional complimentary yoga, pilates, and aqua fitness classes with Pilar and Levi, who also organizes the super fun pickleball social each week. Thanks also to housekeeping -- too many individuals to recognize individually, but they work so hard to keep the units clean and the residents happy. Thank you!!!!

We had a wonderful brief stay at the desert Willow. We have never been to this area before and were amazed by the beauty. The staff was extremely helpful before check-in assisting us in picking a building which met our needs. Despite the murmuring about construction noise, we were not bothered by any of it. Jasmine checked us in and gave us all the information we needed without asking any other questions. Our villa was lovely, and the views were unbelievable. The Agave restaurant was only open for dinner, but there is a pool bar with a nice lunch and drink menu. Kevin, the bartender at the Agave was very welcoming. Everyone on property was friendly and either said hello or returned a greeting. The front desk was able to be texted with any requests and amazingly they also checked in on us unsolicited. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and there was plenty of parking even though it was $25 per night. There were several pools and we hung out at the Palo Verde pool behind our building, which was very quiet, although there was no food service at that pool food was delivered from the sanctuary bar. Overall, a very pleasant but too brief stay. Extremely relaxing

Stayed here 4 nights in a smaller villa, ground floor.||We were in building 9 and it’s farthest from the front of the property. ||The closest pool was the Quiet Pool, but as a family with kids, we took a 5 minute walk to the Ironwood pool. The Ironwood pool has billiards and ping pong, which was a nice amenity. The pool also has a slide but it was closed as it was shoulder season. There was online food ordering but it only seemed to work 1 day we were there. Neither was a huge issue, but I think they should tell guests that there won’t be services in low season and I might have just booked elsewhere. ||We visited the other pool closer to the lobby and it was chaotic with all of the kids and people, so we were glad to be closer to the Ironwood pool. ||The kids liked the game room and while we also saw some tie dye and bingo at the main pool, the kids programming didn’t extend outside of the main area.||The service was really responsive. I like that they respond via text and even follow up with a call to the room to make sure an issue is resolved (extra blanket, fixing the automatic blinds). ||The rooms are nicely insulated so it was very quiet. |It was an overall pleasant stay if you’re going to be poolside, but its proximity from Palm Springs and Joshua Tree make for longer commutes.

What a find! The Westin Desert Willows was all that we hoped for … and more. Four cousins “of a certain age” needed two large bedrooms with king beds, two bathrooms, and a “common area” for talking and drinking wine. This more than adequately filled the bill! The rooms were large and well-appointed, with one larger and more appointed than the other but both still fine. What we hadn’t anticipated was the delicious Agave Grill and the very useful Starbucks/convenience store. We chose rooms near the resort hub so we had everything close by. Every member of the staff was helpful and welcoming. The location was great. Maybe the best part It was a bargain! E reach paid $237 for 3 nights! Yep, a $1000-and-change resort in January. I hope to return.

Arrived with four children with the understanding a two bedroom villa was indeed that. Two bedrooms, one with 2 queen beds and one with king bed, two bathrooms and kitchenette. ||Not at all what was found. |Two low level hotel rooms with a kitchenette, a joined by a large metal door. | King bed, bathroom, kitchenette and a pull out couch. The queen beds that are even pictured on web site, we were now told are the pull out couches. ||Terrible febreeze smell in one room. |The second room was much better kept and appointed than the other. ||Front desk was robotic. Not bad, but not helpful. They offered us a full refund and penelty free cancellation. |We left the property and moved to another.|Total skip.

We recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a great value option in a good location. The lobby is nice and welcoming, and there’s ample parking available, although it is paid which in our opinion is poor for the size of the property and the fact you are in a desert, not downtown in a city somewhere.||||The suite room was very large and modern, featuring separate living and kitchen areas, a good-sized bathroom, and dedicated bedroom, and a balcony with seating. The room was well-equipped with amenities including a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer. There were also two 65” TVs which was impressive! The room was well soundproofed, ensuring a peaceful stay.||||The hotel boasts numerous pools, including one with a slide, a quiet pool, and a pool with bar and café. Mobile ordering is available everywhere, which is very convenient. There’s also a small shop onsite that serves Starbucks, and pool service is provided although only in the one pool with the bar, it would be good if this was expanded to the other pools. ||||Whilst there were no freebies or happy hours, which is something we’ve experienced at other Westin resorts, the comfortable premium pool furniture, plenty of towels, and water stations were nice additions. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, adding to the overall positive experience. There is an onsite restaurant/bar which we didn’t try out on this trip.||||Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel for its comfort, amenities, and value.

Only stayed for 1 night due to availability and we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The resort is beautifully landscaped and the staff were super friendly. The hotel doesn't have a resort fee but they do charge $25 for parking.

We booked a one bedroom villa which was spacious and had newer furniture which was nice. The bathroom was a bit dated but they had the newer backlit mirrors which still made the space feel newer despite being old.

We got building 18 and the pool next to us was pretty big but it wasn't very clean and it seemed to be in the shade most of the time. We ended up walking to the main lobby pool which is only about 8 mins walk and that pool is actually bigger and was clean. There's also music which was nicer to relax and hang out there. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.
