Absolutely love this resort. I come here as often as possible. Rooms are beautiful and modern, staff are incredibly friendly and the pool area is spectacular! You don’t regret booking this one

The hotel was gigantic. It was up to date and the pools were huge. I particularly loved the spa. It was very relaxing. You are able to help yourself with teas and some snacks. The continental breakfast was great. They had a steam sauna as well. Outside relaxation area with a hot tub. Plenty of parking, but it is paid parking. Of course they also have Valet. They have an EV charger which is great.

This is a lovely property and the rooms have been beautifually updated. The pluses: the staff are very friendly and competent; the gym is terrific as are the pools, the bakery for breakfast is great, the grounds are beautiful, the palce is spotless and the beds very comfortable. Negatives: we reserevd a room with a balcony but there not really balconies you can sit on; the walls are very thin and our neighbors woke us up twice; the pool deck is too crowded with chairs; they allow smoking on the patio and the cigar smoke drove us away from our table one evening and we needed to change pool chairs because of the cigar smoke. We have not stayed in a hotel that allowed smoking for years and will not do so again; the food in Cava was ok - good to mediocre; the choices were limited at The Place althought the sushi was very good. The servers - Oskar and Verigin were terrific. The spa was very nice except that there is limited availability of masseurs but Morgan managed to improve a muscle problem that I had. Ceck-in and check out were quick. There is no place to walk to around the hotel. So - in sum, a pleasant week in a good hotel with a few bumps in the road.

The room was excellent, and the staff met all of our expectations. We booked a corner studio suite with a pool and mountain view almost exactly as shown on the website. A car is definitely needed when staying here to get around as indicated in other reviews, but there are a number of things to do on-site. I noted negative comments about the shutters in the room, but our corner room had block-out shades facing the sunrise, so there were no issues. We were on east coast time, so up for the sunrise anyway. The staff took note of the foam pillow request for the room due to feather allergies which is a common miss, so I give good marks for this attention to detail. There was a little table in the room where we had our room service breakfast and other snacks during the stay which was a nice touch. The bathroom layout was very good, as well. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and our first visit to Palm Springs. We especially enjoyed watching the play of light across the mountain views from the balcony. Sitting by the fire pits as it cooled off in the evening or before it warmed up in the morning was also a nice experience. The staff at the spa were very friendly and helpful. My wife also enjoyed the raspberry mojito in the pool area. It was nice to enjoy warm sunshine by the pool before returning home to frost and snow in North Carolina.

Slightly dated, but excellent on all fronts. Staff went out of their way to help, always said hello, good morning, good afternoon, etc. whenever in proximity of guests. Just a very pleasant vibe all around. Well kept resort with great staff and amenities. Food and space we utilized were excellent.

Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells of greater Palm Springs is a wonderful experience in living large. Once here you will have no need to go anywhere else. Everything is here. Of course, it comes with a price but wow it is nice. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a balcony for enjoying the weather and fabulous views. On site are restaurants, a beautiful pool and too numerous of amenities to list here. First class all the way. Highly recommended.

The hotel looks very beautiful and the beds are comfortable. The food is worse than average. The pool is wonderful but service around the pool was tough. The best seats around the pool are reserved, never utilized, and cost an extra $25. Room service food quality was not good. In sum, this hotel looks bright, shiny, and beautiful on the outside but the quality inside is not what it appears.

Our family went for the Thanksgiving buffet that was offered. Spectacular! I was asked while dinning how the fresh risotto bar was and I answer that it was excellent. After the meal was over, it was my favorite part of the meal...even though I enjoyed everything!
We love cooking at home but just couldn't this year. This was a worthy replacement.
