This is our go to sushi spot. We go here at least once a month. The other sushi spots are solid, but this is always where we end up coming back to and having the best experience. They treat you like family, and the food is delicious. Prices are reasonable, and well worth it.

Great service. Our server Sarah was prompt, attentive, proactive, thoughtful, and friendly! Tasty sushi. We got salmon nigiri, salmon sashimi, jalapeño salmon roll, and tempura calamari roll; all delicious. We also got the Shumai appetizer - that was not too impactful as compared to the rest. Overall vibe is solid, the outdoor area could use a little tlc/refinement; but clean and down overall. One thing we would was that the outdoor tables were too tall for the chairs; or perhaps the chairs were too low. It made the eating seated position a bit awkward. But overall, great experience, quick service, no wait during prime dinner time. Friendly staff. Some parking on Honolulu, and a few lots south of the Main Street. One note, there is a martial arts school a few doors west of the restaurant, and during class pick-up/drop off it can get a little crowded. We were blocked in our car, which was parked on Honolulu, upon our exit around 8pm. We normally go to Blue Fish across the way. While Blue Fish has a nicer outdoor dining atmosphere, we felt Sake had better value, and portions. And their sushi was just as delicious.

Our favorite dishes:

Salmon nigiri
Jalapeño Salmon Roll
Jessica Roll (avocado, cucumber, shrimp tempura inside; tuna, salmon, avocado - outside)
Garlic Chili Salmon Poke Bowl

Amazing staff!!!! Love them.

12.2025 update: still amazing! And shout out to Robert. He is a great server. Connects with you, remembers you and your order, and treats you like his family! He strikes the perfect balance of attentive, and non-intrusive. He is critical component of why we love coming here. He always elevates our experience, and we appreciate him a ton.

This is a great restaurant on the beautiful street of Honolulu. It has a cozy atmosphere and kind staff. The sashimi was tasty and the flavors were balanced. Totally would recommend! They could improve the bathroom a bit though...

Our server (Alice) was very kind and helpful. Popped in for a quick bite - food was tasty and beautiful (and fast).

So good, we came back the same night to eat more when we had more time!

Had a couple service problems but the food was phenomenal! Besides sushi, there weren't really any other menu options besides ramen and teriyaki. I ordered Ramen and the ramen had pork in it even though it did not list that pork was in it on the menu. The waitress quickly replaced my order though. The sushi was fire! Bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Overall I would recommend this place but just make sure you ask about what comes with your food in case you don't eat pork.

My favorite sushi spot for lunch, been coming here for about 5 years now. Never a dissapointed. So far my favorite are their salads. They have added a new menu "lunch specials" & "happy hour" both have good portions at affordable prices.

Service has lacked now that they have new waitresses. Mimi was one of my favorites.

Prices are fair can't complain you are in the city of "Glendale" but again the lunch special menu and happy hour menu are worth your buck and serving.

Atmosphere is cool, all ages, they also have a variety of music playing as you eat your lunch. If you like hip hop and sushi this is the place to be.

Parking can be better, front is metered, back area is limited, good luck finding a space.

Oh my god. The food here was amazing. I went with a friend on a Friday night and we only waited 10-15 minutes for a booth. We ordered several appetizers and they were all delicious. The food came out very quick and everything tasted amazing. The servers were all very attentive. We were there a while and didn’t feel rushed. I’m definitely coming back more often. Keep up the great service and food!!

I'm torn with this review. The staff was amazing, it's in a cute location, and a majority of the experience was amazing, but there were a few standout issues. I think it was just a fluke, but when you try a place for the first time, everything kinda counts. We were taken to a table where it looked like the previous parties leftovers were dumped right onto the floor. When the host tried sitting us at the next table, it seemed to have the same issue. The place isn't very big, but being marched to a table and having that happen, only to be marched back to the hostess stand kinda puts a damper on your date. Once seated, the servers did well. We ordered a large chef's choice sashimi place. While the presentation was well done, some of the selections seemed out of place. I don't know many western palates that thoroughly enjoy mackerel. All in all though, I would definately come back and try some of the other offerings.
