I wish we could have stayed but it wasn't safe for us nor could we get to office or our room. They allow cars to park blocking the main pathway from parking lot to office and the accessible rooms. Someone parked in the spot that blocks the pathway to office and accessible room so my daughter in wheelchair couldn't get back to our car in parking lot because the car was blocking the path. Mary at front desk couldn't grasp even though I showed her that this parking spot prevents us from going from my car to office and or room and vice versa if a car parks here. It blocks the accessible route. So we couldn't leave until I decided to pull my daughter backwards down and around the long grass path to get to parking lot. I wasn't going to do that when we return this evening (had evening plans) in the dark - not safe I could injure myself but more importantly there is no way a fire truck or ambulance crew can get to the office or an accessible room if a car is parked there in this spot. So on website it states there is accessible path to office and accessible rooms and pool etc but there is NOT if the very small parking lot is full and someone parks on the one end that blocks the main pathway! I couldn't even park in the accessible spot as it blocks main pathway. So since it wasn't safe for us to stay and no way to get in / out of room to pkg lot etc I decided we wouldn't stay. What if my daughter had an emergency or there was a fire or we just wanted to go out for evening as planned we couldnt get out or back in! We left and stayed elsewhere.. The room looked really nice and good location next to pool. Its beautiful setting. Gate you have to go through to get to room and pool is NOT wheelchair friendly especially traveling solo. Luckily my daughter had me to help. Pool area looked nice. I saw the pathway for breakfast as u have to go around due to huge step from office and it's questionable and breakfast area tiny and crowded so not for wheelchair either.

Edit: I went to the Inn prior to leaving town next morning in hopes to speak with Arnold. We spoke. He was understanding and agreed. We discussed improvements for access and he sounded like he would put them in place. Arnold did refund me.

Absolutely amazing hotel, the staff were so kind and helpful. The little cafe has amazing breakfast, the location is near the heart of palm desert, an absolutely beautiful city. Hot tub was great, even the pool was nice and warm. The room was clean and wonderful. I took off one star because one of the covers was a little dirty, looked like a cleaning agent on it but there was an extra cover so I swapped it out. Absolutely wonderful for a getaway!

Decent rooms. Nice heated saltwater pool & hottub. Was a bit cool outside, so unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy as much as we were hoping for. You can purchase breakfast but that's it

My second (and not my last) stay at the INN. I like the very spacious and clean rooms , the amenities, the direct access to the pool, the hot tub, the pool itself (both heated and open 24/7)!) and the lovely staff. Free parking and fast WiFi, excellent location as Palm Desert, Indian Wells, Indio, or La Quinta are just around the corner. There's also a supermarket and a gas station in walking distance, and a few restaurants, what else can one ask for...

Inn at Deep Canyon is a gem! Our king bed and pillows were ultra comfy. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the location is actually quiet but so close to amenities; Albertsons (groceries & pharmacy) is a 5 minute walk and El Paseo Drive, a 10 minute walk. The salt water pool is a refreshing change. Attached to the lobby is a morning coffee and breakfast spot that uses quality ingredients. It has the tastiest breakfast sandwich!

We had a great stay here and would recommend it to anyone on a budget.

The hotel itself is definitely older but I think that is to the benefit of the exterior aesthetics. Even though the property is older, the grounds are maintained very well. The pool and hot tub were clean. They are also heated and open 24/7 as long as you are courteous and keep any noise down.

I think the location is pretty good considering you will need a car when you come here anyway. There are some cute shops and restaurants just a bit down 111 that are worth browsing. Downtown Palm Springs is about 15 miles away and it took us ~30 minutes to drive there which I thought was fair.

The service was excellent. We got in after the front office closed and they had clear instructions on how to get to our room and formally check in the next morning. When we had an issue with our keycard one night, we called the after hours line and a woman came to help us within minutes.

Parking was tough to find later in the night, but luckily there is plenty of street parking right nearby so I didn't find this to be an issue. I found the immediate area to be completely fine and did not worry about my car, but I also never leave anything valuable in my vehicle.

The room was large and provided good value for the price you pay. I appreciated the clean well-sized mini-fridge and the microwave. AC worked very well the entire stay. Wi-Fi was more than good enough for working remotely.

The beds and their linens were clean as were the mattresses (I always check for evidence of bugs). I found the bed itself very comfy, but one of the beds was sunken in in the middle. The bathroom was also very clean.

I think the only thing I would knock a point off for is some of the smaller things that I believe could be cleaned up a bit more. For example, the small living area with the sofa was a nice touch, but there was a rug there that was pretty stained and had a bit of a smell. The sofa itself was also a bit dirty with some crumbs on the surface when we arrived. I think the rooms could do with a bit of a refresh in terms of furniture in general.

Overall though, I was very impressed with The Inn and I would certainly stay here again. Thank you to the great staff who maintain the property and make sure everything runs smoothly.

This place is fantastic! Relaxing! Large, warm, deep pool and clean hot tub! Ample lounge chairs! Quiet, relaxing, resort vibe! Friendly staff and guests! On-site coffee shop! Walkable neighborhood to shop and eat! Clean rooms! Definitely recommend without any hesitation…hopefully someday I can stay here again! An absolute “gem” in Palm Desert!

This place was great. Book your room through their own website. Their pricing is very reasonable, personnel are very friendly and helpful. There is a 24hr free pool and a hot tub in the back yard. I tried both and both were great.
