I was initially concerned after reading some negative reviews, but The Chateau at Lake La Quinta turned out to be an absolute delight! The property is quaint and full of charm, with a peaceful lakeside setting that made for a wonderfully relaxing stay.

While some of the furnishings are a bit dated, everything was well-maintained and very clean. The highlight for us was enjoying the serene lake views from our patio, especially in the evening with the fireplace on—such a cozy and memorable experience!

The staff, both at the front desk and in the restaurant, were fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We truly felt taken care of throughout our stay.

If you’re on the fence about booking, don’t hesitate! We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back.

I’ll admit, I was a little hesitant about booking The Chateau at Lake La Quinta after reading some mixed reviews, but I’m so glad we decided to give it a chance! This charming boutique hotel completely exceeded our expectations.||Yes, some of the furnishings are a bit dated, but everything was in great condition and, most importantly, very clean. The property itself is absolutely adorable—quaint, cozy, and full of character. The real highlight for us was the stunning lake views. Sitting on our patio by the fireplace in the evening was pure magic!||The staff was another standout. Both the front desk and restaurant teams were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.||If you’re looking for a unique and relaxing getaway, I highly recommend The Chateau. We’re already planning our next visit!

Beautiful location, gorgeous room, stunning grounds. Comfortable bed and just a delightful place. No restaurant or food/beverage service on Mondays and Tuesdays and really be advised that the breakfast does NOT equate to even a “continental breakfast”. There is no granola, no yoghurt, not even bananas or a water fountain. Its sliced breads and melon. You will leave hungry and will have to time in breakfast elsewhere on your way out of town.

This is a lovely resort in a beautiful setting. It is on a Community lake shared with single-story mansions. The large, sprawling patio overlooks the lake and has multiple levels with a variety of seating, including a couple of daybeds. The continental breakfast that was included, had no protein options, only carbs. The room overlooked the lake, but was smaller than the pictures on the website, and had a tiny patio, barely big enough for a couple of chairs and a small table. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. There’s a pool in a hot tub, but I didn’t use it because it is on a side of the resort that is fenced in with not much landscaping. The hotel is in the process of replacing the TVs. (Note: there was no microwave or fridge in the room) The best thing about this resort, is definitely the patio overlooking the lake. You can dine there, and they also have a happy hour in the evenings, and the lighting is magical at night. The music playing from the outdoor speakers, nostalgic, Frank Sinatra vibe. This place is well worth it if you can get a good rate.

The small, 24 room, boutique hotel is a real find. Its rooms and patio look have a beautiful view of a serene lake. We enjoyed their afternoon happy hours on the patio restaurant.

Pros:|Good location on a small man made lake. Quiet. Room decor is nice but aging. Pleasant by the lake.|Probably better than the other places at this price.|Cons: |The price for this small botique hotel is quite low but with just a little effort it could be much better. Someone only has to walk through the rooms to see things that other reviews have mentioned like stained carpet, badly repaired paint work and drains that don't work.|Linens and pillows on the cheap side.|The free breakfast is a plate of fruite and some breads and muffins. Adding a few more things wouldn't really be that hard.||I would probably stay here again because it's a perfect location for me and it has a lot going for it but a little effort would go a long ways here.

Supposedly a 4-star hotel. A four star hotel with doors, wall construction, and finishes that were distinctly 2-star. Could hear everything through the floors and walls, curtain was black-out only, terrace balcony that we assumed was private was not, so people walked right by the room. This meant the only option was to black out and block out the view of the lake to have any privacy. "Breakfast" was Wonderbread and some bad supermarket fruit. The fruit part was the most ridiculous, as the parking lot had several grapefruit and orange trees that were bursting with ripe fruit... I picked a lot, and we had our own fresh and local fruit breakfast... Maybe this is the norm in the area, but it was pretty sad, especially given the price.
