Comfortable rooms and GREAT STAFF! We recently stayed here for 3 weeks while our home was being renovated and we could not have been happier. The rooms were clean and comfortable and wet felt completely at home. We made great use of the jacuzzi and fire pit and especially the free breakfast. I cannot say enough about the staff. They were sooo friendly and went out of their way to get us anything we needed. They always greeted us when we walked through the lobby, they were so attentive and sweet. I was actually sad to say goodbye. From top to bottom, all the staff were amazing. Special shout out to Alex at the front desk and Francisco in housekeeping. So friendly and amazing at their jobs. But really they all were great. Thanks so much, guys!

As a lifetime titanium member I’ve had a lot of great experiences with hotels. This hotel rates as the absolute BEST EXPERIENCE I’ve ever had with a hotel in the United States. Thank you to this incredible staff especially Ricky and Louise for your kindness, attention and patience with my reservation. Both are role models for customer service excellence. Thank you Ricky for helping me make this happen. You rock!!!!!

The rooms have more modern furnishings, location is easy to get in and out of I-5, and it has great outdoor amenities too. It is right next to a shopping plaza with Costco but it is walled-in, so no one from shopping plaza can get in and out easily. The hotel sits high on a hill so we can see the ocean from our room windows. The only downside is that there is an active train track for commuter trains and cargo trains nearby so you'll hear the loud train whistle every so often.

Noisy due to adjacent train and 5-freeway on ramp. Floor plan layout is not great - AC unit is at the foot of the bed. Switched rooms due to excessive noise and the second room did not cool properly. Also, there must have been a staff room or laundry facility above as I heard lots of footsteps and noise coming from the space above me (I was in first floor).
Breakfast offering was simple, bagel, English muffins and toasts. Oatmeal and fresh fruit goes quickly. Eggs bacon or sausage (spends on the day) and cold roasted potatoes. Coffee was extremely bitter I think they need to clean their brewer.
Did not feel appreciated for loyalty status and wasn’t asked about my stay upon checkout. Rooms are clean but lots of evidence of maintenance work - sloppy paint, swollen door frames and baseboards from water damage. Poor layout - AC placement mentioned above as well as kitchen. Microwave door doesn’t open fully as it rubs against the fridge.
Parking is $20/day. Just a nickel and dime approach - who rents a room without driving a car to get there. Ridiculous.

Booked my room 6+ months ago, got an email confirmation 5 days ago and checked in via app for a midnight arrival. After a packed day of meetings, flying cross country into LAX and driving 1hr+, I was told that my room was oversold and that they would “walk” me to another hotel which was ONLY 15 miles back towards LAX. Challenge is, I found this out after midnight and I have a 6a meeting a mile from the hotel.
It’s extremely unsafe for me to drive ~40mi round trip after no sleep, so instead I’m making the lobby couch my bed for the night.
Let’s see what they do to make this right. BTW- did I mention I’m a Titanium Elite Member with 12+ years of loyalty? What a joke.

Always amazing!! We've stayed there i believe, about three times and it has always lived up to the hype. The hotel in itself is quite serene, never feels busy.||Alex at arrival was amazing, with his efficient check-in, and thoughtful gesture. To the lady (wearing a mask) who assisted us Sunday morning, sorry I did not catch her name (louise). She was always very peasant whenever I approach the desk. ||Aso, the lady at breakfast was very special. It was obvious she loves what she does.||Thanks for an amazing stay.

I had a great experience here very happy that they took me in during the LA fires when I evacuated. Lots of amenities really friendly staff. All in all I had a really great experience. I would recommend this hotel, it is a little outdated, however are a lot of amenities, including a pool and hot tub. There’s a little place for your dog to go potty if needed full kitchen great place to stay longer term. The Wi-Fi was a little iffy. I’d recommend that they update that parking was a bit pricey for the parking lot that was in, and there weren’t any breakfast options for vegan/gluten-free people. But a lot of great opportunities and a lot of great resources to use especially in an emergency

Didn’t sleep at all! Train next door has a noisy horn that goes off every hour. Going to switch hotels in the middle of my stay! Interior is fine but sleep is more important to me.
