This is my absolute favorite local restaurant for Italian food! The dining room feels so cozy, and the staff are always professional and polite. The Foothills have some decent Italian cuisine options, but Portobello's is favorite. The food is really good and the portions are generous. Lots of homemade pasta choices, great clam chowder soup, and always a seafood special. Desserts are always fresh but the Tiramisu is outstanding. The service is attentive with a very genuine Italian feel. Tell the boys Juve Jeero sent you. 😉

The food, while nothing exceptional, is the best Italian option I've tried in the area. I would want to come here more if they would make the interior a bit more inviting and less casual, or maybe comfier chairs. The wine list could also use some expanding.

I stumbled upon this place when apartment hunting this past summer. Fast forward to last Friday, I was celebrating my birthday and they happened to have a outdoor seating available. The ambiance is very cozy. The owner and his staff made me feel so much at home. Boy they have a sense of humor and even sang happy birthday to me. As for the food, try the clams linguine and calamari. I'll be coming back soon. Worth the time and energy.
