Very nice place. A bit small but food and service make up for it. We had the menudo and it was really good. Meat was not over cooked and not to firm. Tortillas hechas a mano nice and hot, and they were actually good. Definitely recommend this place. Gracias

Not too often, i get the enjoyment to give a full 5 stars on everything. I came here with my kids and wife after an unfortunate visit at the local hospital. It was empty, and when i first walked in, it was fresh compared to the blistered heat from outside. It was very clean, and my first walk into the door, and im greated by fransisco a super friendly and nice host. Instantly, my family and I felt comfortable. He explained the food origin to us, which was interesting, and even though there were a few people walking into the door, he maintained an even flow of attentiveness and good demeanor. The food was presented very well, and you can see there is great pride in making this food. We ordered taquitos, bean with cheese taco. We ended up ordering another cause it was so good, and the tortillas on the highest plus side are made by hand in-house. They were so soft, this is definitely a hidden gem of los angeles. This is a family business, and places like this definitely deserve community support. I highly recommend it here you wont go wrong.

As the only place in Southern California offering this special food, La Cocina de los Reyes must be making anyone that calls Chiapas home very happy.

This is by far the best Mexican food in town. The service, the variety, and the flavors are what set this place apart. Highly recommend you come and check this location out. You won't be dissapointed!

Man oh Man, we’re in Heaven!Those Mole Tamales are to die for! And the green and red chile sauce they gave me are the best ever! I ordered the tamales ahead of time for Christmas. You bet we’ll be going back there to eat out or takeout.

The food is super yummy! And the staff is so so friendly and attentive to what we needed. The food was different but reeeeally liked it, definitely coming back again! Very welcoming and quaint little place

Prices are expensive and overpriced. One large menudo, one horchata, one torta, and a side of rice $42?
Menudo was bland and watered down. Ordered a large and got a small portion inside with lots of juice. Younger waiter is pretencioso and speaks no English for non Spanish speaking customers. The atmosphere is very noisy with music and other customers speaking very loudly and obnoxious. It wasn't a comfortable dining experience. It's a basic set up of simple tables and chairs. There are plenty of other tasty and inexpensive Mexican food establishments nearby to choose from, with better pricing and service and a better atmosphere to dine in.

The owner is onsite and takes care of his clean dive in diner very well. The food is Chiapas style and made very well. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
