Be prepared for an old-styled farmhouse albeit with pretty gardens. For check in, had to dial the owner who made her way to the entry room. Rooms are adequate but don’t expect anything more than average accommodations. For breakfast, we had to specify our time. Eggs frittata, fruit, uninspiring toast. Okay but totally overpriced at $600 for one night. St Helena was a nice town to visit but next time I’ll look for different lodging.

An oasis of calm, surrounded by fragrant roses, citrus, and so many colors of green. The NapaFarmhouse is welcoming and generous in its amenities. The beds are super cozy with soft linens and a bounty of pillows. The house is beautifully appointed with big sofas, lots of nooks and seating areas, with a large porch to enjoy the views and Napa weather. Breakfast was amazing! Mimi Brown made skillet omelettes with veggies and chicken sausage that were delicious….not to mention the homemade bread and jam alongside fresh picked fruits from the garden. I thought mulberries were only in a song! The most magical thing about the Farmhouse is the countless amount of roses, foxglove, lavender, vegetables and varietals beyond what you could imagine a few acres could hold.
With all that said, if you are looking for a modern white and gray with sleek steel everywhere- don’t come here! This is a home sweet homey kind of vibe and for those who appreciate a more eclectic style.

We wish we were writing a glowing review of this inn but unfortunately our experience was less than anticipated. Based on the what we saw on Trip Advisor and on the inn’s Instagram page, we anticipated a stay in a lovely B&B in the Napa Valley with enticing gardens and relaxing spaces with beauty all around. We arrived to find a basically charming house but on entry to the property, there was a dirty minivan with flat tires and a barrier fence in the parking area in disrepair. The country farm house was charming but in need of spring cleaning to remove the vestiges of winter weather and cobwebs. The interior French country decor was lovely but in the kitchen and eating areas there was a greasy, sticky film over several of the decorative glass items, the adorable white teapots on the mantle in the bay window breakfast nook adjacent to the kitchen and even on the TV remotes in the dining, community area. ||The grounds must have been beautiful at first spring but in June we found them unkempt, rose bushes untended and garden beds overgrown with weeds. It was a disappointment to us because part of our objective was to relax and decompress in the gardens. Only one modest patch of the organic vegetable garden was newly planted and thriving though needed weeding also. ||Their site boasts of farm fresh eggs and organically grown farm to table vegetables and fruit. No chickens were found and the coop on the property was in disrepair and full of weeds. The breakfast was a vegetable, sausage and potato frittata served with some mulberries from their tree and other fruit. (Hopefully, locally sourced organic?). It was too early for fruit from their many fruit trees. It was accompanied by day old+ baked items brought from the bakery they own in the Bay Area where they spend half of their time. ||It wasn’t a good value to us at almost $600 per night given our goal of a relaxing, visually enriching weekend in the wine country. We could be considered the one off contrarians given the previous positive reviews and it’s not lost on us that the owners could just be going through a rough patch but decided to post for those needing to take care in the their investment of time, intent and money.

Filthy. Stained bedding and towels. Window AC didn’t work well. Spider webs. No hot water. Carpet stained. Light fixtures w/o bulbs. Shower door wouldn’t close. Really the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Don’t go there.

I am remiss in writing this so far after our time spent at Napa Farmhouse Inn, but want to start by saying our time there was nothing short of wonderful. We stayed from Sept 6-Sept 9, 2023, and Mimi and Ed were attentive and personable hosts. Each morning we chit chatted with Mimi as she cooked us a cast iron frittata, using sausage and fresh vegetables from her garden. There was also fresh cantaloupe and 2-3 massive pastries from their bakery provided, as well as some of the most delicious hot tea I have ever had. Our room was on the first floor right off the kitchen, with our own personal bathroom. Noise was never an issue, and both Mimi and Ed indicated any fruit left out in the kitchen was for the taking. Mimi also encouraged us to explore her garden and the grounds of the farmhouse, which were serene and sublime after a long day of visiting wineries. Please enjoy a stay at Napa Farmhouse Inn, as we did!

Gorgeous property and the owners and staff are friendly and professional. Mimi is warm and welcoming and makes a delicious breakfast that you can eat in the dining room or on the back porch overlooking their garden, wineries nextdoor, and the hills to the west. Rooms are utilitarian, but luxurious where it matters, like super comfy beds. Also in the perfect location between cute downtown St. Helena and Yountville, with excellent wineries literally steps away.

An ideal location and a wonderful ambiance for a Mother-Daughter weekend in Napa. The host is a chef so you will enjoy a beautiful, French-inspired breakfast/brunch. The details of the farmhouse are artfully appointed but it is neither pretentious or stuffy - we felt at home immediately and loved the outdoor spaces - gardens, little paths and a beautiful veranda for an outdoor supper. Highly recommend.

We would give a 10 star rating if it was an option. My wife and I were completely blown away from our stay at The Napa Farmhouse Inn. The owners Mimi and Ed were completely kind and gracious. Our room and accommodations were quaint and romantic. Our breakfasts each morning were exceptional.. made by Mimi with fresh laid eggs by their chickens and organically grown vegetables on the property. Her homemade jellies and baked goods made from scratch were so delicious! The grounds were adorned with 50+ beautiful rose bushes, dozens of fruit trees, an incredible vegetable garden, and much more. We thought it to be a hidden oasis... just beautiful
