I have been very happy with Elizabeth Holmes Travel when handling our recent overseas flight reservations, and I look forward to continuing to use them in the future. Sometimes folks have said "I can get a better deal online." But I've tried that... AND been stranded overseas when the airline I had used to "get the best price online" CEASED OPERATIONS the day I was scheduled to fly home. Seriously. Been there, done that. Not fun. I learned an important lesson that day as I watched fellow travelers call their travel agents and promptly get booked onto alternate flights back to the States. I was left scrambling, however, because there was no one for me to call (the airline's customer service center had shut down along with the rest of the company). I literally had to go from airline counter to airline counter at Gatwick until I found one who would sell me a last minute one-way ticket—for which I had to pay 150% more than my "bargain" round-trip ticket (which was now effectively worthless). That's the day I learned the true value of having a travel agent. Indeed, having a good travel agent is more than just the convenience of having someone handle the reservations and ticketing. An effective travel agent is also a "safety net" when things go awry. And based on their reputation, I believe Elizabeth Holmes Travel is who I want to be able to call to help sort things out when needed.

Wonderful experience planning and booking flights, transportation, hotels, and tours for family trip to Greece. Worked with us to build itinerary that hit most of the spots we wanted to visit given the high season and logistics. All very smooth experiences.
When our flight home was cancelled by the airline, Brynn found us alternate flights that got us home on the same day as originally planned.

Elizabeth Holmes Travel agents have been booking my trips for years. They have taken me through most of Europe and we are currently working on a trip to Japan. Depending on where you want to go, somebody in the office knows what you should do and how to maximize your time. They have been able to tailor each of my trips based off of what I want to do and how much I want to spend; utilizing useful travel best practices that I was usually unaware of. During the planning phase, the EHT team is very responsive and are incredibly capable whether I just need flights booked or need an entire itinerary for the trip.

I am finally writing a review because I would have been hosed on my most recent trip to Norway without Brynn's help. An error made by the hotel I was booked at resulted in my room being given away. I arrived at 12:30 am local time and was unable to get into the building. Despite the late hour, Brynn was able to get a representative from the hotel to let us in and upgrade our room for the troubles. The whole issue was resolved in less than an hour.

Long story short, if you need capable travel agents to plan your trip, book your accommodations and/or fight to resolve any issues that arise, I cant recommend Elizabeth Holmes Travel enough.

I have used Brynn Larson for the last two years of international travel and she has always done a wonderful job. Never fails to get me what I have requested and never complains when I make a mistake with important details. I highly recommend her as an agent.

I have used this company several times over the years, generally to find tour extensions or difficult flights. I have been satisfied on all counts. Their agents are always pleasant and often find flights/extensions that I could not (even after considerable internet searching.) In one instance, in looking for a tour which when to a specific part of Scotland, their agent sent me a number of recommendations and even made follow up requests of the companies for information. Ultimately, it did not work out, but the agent (despite not making anything for her considerable work) remained pleasant and helpful. I would not hesitate to use them again in those instances where I want a travel agency.

Really exceptional customer service, fast response times, and good insights. (We were going to the UK and Iceland and worked with Brynn.) Not sure what else you could ask for in a travel agency. We'll use them again, no doubt.

They did a good job booking the flights, cars and hotels but I could have found it online for less. No hassles and friendly staff. We went to Italy and the guy I sat beside smelled like garlic and kept farting and then blowing it over to next seat with the skymall magazine. Hotel was nice and the tours were a bargain. I gained 5lbs from the food in 10 days.
