This was our first time dining here, and we had an overall positive experience. We ordered the jungle
Party roll, the Fujisan, the fresh roll, a 12 pc
Sashimi plate, and spicy edamame and miso for appetizers. The rolls are unique and all taste differently. Our favorite of the 3 was the Fujisan. Good lively atmosphere. I do feel like the service could be a little more personable and professional. The service felt slightly scrambly and rushed, but giving them grace because they’re new and they were busy. Would definitely go back though!

One of my two favorite sushi places in this part of Sacramento. !! All my favorites, especially the scallops,which I repeated my order 3 times! It was especially delicious!!!!

Pretty fresh sashimi! Loved the bentos for the price, it was a decent portion. Would come back again for more raw scallops / tuna belly.

Husband took me here for birthday omakase- the place is unassuming and very simple… it was one of the best food experiences i’ve had in my life. Thank you chef for the selection! Itadakimasu!

The restaurant is located in a strip mall and the inside definitely more like a fast casual restaurant rather than a nicer place. I was a little shocked at the prices due to the location and ambience. The food however seemed fresh and there was plenty of it. I took food home at the end of my meal and only ordered one of the $18 lunch specials. My Diet Coke came in a can which again I was surprised at. While the food was good, I was horrified at the men’s bathroom that literally had water all over it. A male staff member would go to the kitchen and then return to the dinning area to just sit. I really wished someone would have found the time to at least mop up the bathroom as it had water everywhere and was very slippery. I probably won’t be back but mainly because I felt it was over priced for canned sodas on my table and lack of concern for water all over the bathroom. The bathroom definitely was unexceptionable and should have been closed to customers either till it was fixed or at minimum cleaned

Don't sleep on Azayaka Japanese Fusion!

Had lunch here with the husband and we were both extremely satisfied with our meals. We ordered the chu toro carpaccio, house ramen, chicken katsu, fire dragon roll and double toro roll. The fish was fresh, the katsu was banging and the ramen hit the spot. I wished the toro was a little more fatty and my husband was hoping the ramen would be spicer, but both were still good. Come for lunch, which was when we came, to get their lunch special. A specialized lunch menu that includes 2 appetizers (smaller portion than regular), a main dish or roll, and a drink.

The service was great so we will definitely be back. They do offer omakase that requires advanced reservations, so hopefully we’ll get to try this out soon.

This was our second time visiting. Both times the food and service were exceptional. We started with the mixed tempura. It was hot and crispy on the outside. The vegetables and shrimp were perfectly cooked. We also had the Pepper Fin. It was fresh with a slightly spicy sauce. We also ordered 3 Makimono, the Azayaka, the Fire Dragon and the Sassy. All three were beautiful to look at and and full of flavor. The fish was very fresh and the sauces while delicious didn't overpower the fish. We definitely ordered too much for 2 people. Next time we want to try the Omakase. We arrived about 5pm on a Thursday and it was not busy, but started to pickup by the time we left. The staff was friendly and attentive. Really appreciate a good restaurant take a chance on a suburban location.

I’m happy my daughter found Azayaka Japanese Fusion a couple of months ago for my birthday dinner. The restaurant looks great inside, has very delicious food, and has excellent service.

We have a party of five with reservations made a few weeks ahead for Omakase on a Monday evening.

The restaurant wasn’t very crowded. We were the only party for Omakase. They have one chef and one waitress assigned for our party with another waitress helping when needed. I have an excellent experience!

We ordered the 16 courses Omakase menu with many beautiful and delicious dishes and sushi including wagyu nigiri.

I was very impressed with the cutting skill of the chef and how beautifully the food presented and all the ingredients were very fresh and tasty!

We received great services. The young lady who took care of our party was very attentive and gave us a warm feeling. The chef was very friendly and informative about the ingredients and how they prepared the dishes.

I’m very pleased with the quality of the food and service we received from Azayaka Japanese Fusion.
