This property feels like staying at an old aunts house. It has an odd smell, the carpet is dated & the 2009 TV pretty much only plays commercials. For the high room price per night, I expected better. In addition the road noise is quite loud from 5am-8am and the breakfast was lacking in everything but hard boiled eggs.

Had a wonderful time staying here during my son's wedding. The rooms are clean, the views of the vineyards are awesome and the quiet inside when you close the doors is surprising. We had a big group but the Hotel staff were patient, gracious and helpful!
If you enjoy the continental breakfast you have to try the granola, It must be home made! Absolutely delectable!
I may just go back this winter for the views and to relax!

HORRIBLE experience. I fully regret choosing here for our anniversary. I even booked directly through their website, paid extra for the patio (all photos have a COVERED patio). We checkin and i know it’s going to be raining so I paid MORE money for the patio that is NOT covered, we arrived at 5pm and no one was available. So I called the number and the guy wouldn’t do ANYTHING. Was kind of rude honestly. I explained and he told me I should’ve called? Like what? I booked directly through them and paid top of our budget for awful service. Also want to point out the room description. Specially said “away from highway” yet I see it and hear it on my non-covered patio. Just can’t believe the awful service I received after asking to trade rooms. I will never stay here again.

My colleagues and I had a charity event at Tre Posti from 12-4 p.m. on a Saturday and decided to stay at Vineyard Country Inn which was conveniently walking distance. This property is lovely - it was clean and quiet. The room we reserved was perfect - very large and spacious and had all the amenities that we needed. We did unfortunately have a bad experience with the manager, Nima. My colleagues and I went out to dinner at a small italian restaurant just down the street, from 6:00-7:00 which was timed intentionally so that we could take a dip into the pool/spa at the hotel before calling it a night. We entered the pool area at approximately 7:30 p.m and were approached by the front desk woman about 10-15 minutes later advising us that we had 15-minutes left. Nima, the manager, then approached us a 8:01, very aggressively and rudely shouting that we were already told that we had 15-minutes. It was literally 8:01 p.m. and the pool area closes at 8:00 p.m. Mind you, we were sitting in the spa at that moment very calmly and quietly. This situation should have been handled differently by a manager. My colleagues and I who are healthcare workers, wives, and mothers who work endlessly day in and day out looked forward to this trip together for months! Nima needs a lesson on professionalism and respect.

I cannot rate this wonderful establishment highly enough. The room was beyond spacious, well appointed , clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. The service was lovely, efficient and welcoming and a lovely breakfast each morning to set us up for the day. The location was great and close enough to the action but quiet and relaxing. It was lovely to come home each afternoon and jump in the pool and spa. We can’t thank you enough for having us and recommend to anyone coming to st Helena
