This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in the county! Its cozy, intimate size creates the perfect ambiance for a romantic date night—my wife and I enjoyed a fantastic Friday evening here. Despite its smaller size, the space is versatile and equally suited for larger parties, making it a great option for any occasion.

The wine selection is extensive, offering something for every palate, and the food is absolutely exceptional. My wife’s shrimp with fettuccine was perfection—expertly blending Italian and seafood flavors. It transported us right back to the unforgettable seafood pasta dishes we savored in Venice just a few years ago.

Nonno's is a family restaurant with meals that do. Not. Miss. Everything is profoundly flavorful and masterfully crafted. We had the opportunity to hear about how the dishes get made and we were told the sauce was made as the food is ordered, and gosh does it show. The flavors are robust, well rounded, and the pasta is tender and excellent.

The tiramisu is also to die for and an excellent finisher to something as indulgent as their lasagna, gnocchi , or dean martin.

The service is astronomically kind and I felt like I was being treated like a loved one. Not to mention they squeezed us in without a reservation on the day before Valentine's.

While we ordered out from here before, I didn't realize how much we were missing out on by not dining in. We will be back soon, sure to bring family along with us.

Lisa is an amazing hostess. The finest chefs create amazing meals to die for❣️Best wine & beer selections to compliment the main course. 🥂 My Mom is 100 years old & just loves their Shrimp Risotto. My husband loves Seafood My Way with a delicious combination of mussels, clams, mixed seafood, and fettuccine. Garlic bread is always fresh & hot! It's always best to make reservations, the venue is intimate and the seating is limited because they are so popular!! It's definitely worth the effort, right off Fletcher Parkway, Hwy 8 & Baltimore in La Mesa.👌🏻 Still an amazing local restaurant near us! Just love ❤️ them!!

Nonno’s felt like I was at my grandmas house. They treated us like family. The food was delicious and large portions. It’s small, so be sure you have reservations. They were doing just as many takeout orders as the we’re for dine ins. We’ll be back for sure.

Arrived a few minutes before our 6:30 reservation. No clear table, had to wait and were seated shortly after appointed time. Provided with menu’s and water. Sat until 6:55 with no further contact by anyone, then left. It appears only two workers run the place. Won’t return!!!

I very rarely post a review but for this restaurant I couldn't wait to write about it. The food is absolutely stellar. The most nicest staff and experience is had here. I cannot recommend this incredible restaurant enough. It is worth every mile to get here and every cent.
