Repeatedly Closed, Misleading Information

I've tried to visit this restaurant multiple times, each time searching for a romantic spot in Dothan. Unfortunately, despite Google showing it as open, every single visit has been met with closed doors. This is extremely frustrating, especially when planning something special. I hope they update their hours or correct their communication with customers to avoid this unnecessary confusion.

After posting my review, the owner responded with the following:

"Yes, we are closed for renovation. It is clear on our website. Sorry, you were upset about that. It isn't misleading. You're upset because we weren't open. I hope you find a great spot for your romantic evening. Salute to your night."

While I understand renovations are sometimes necessary, my feedback was based on the Google listing, which showed the restaurant as open during my attempts to visit. I did not check the website because, like most users, I relied on Google’s information. I wasn’t upset about the restaurant being closed for renovations—I was frustrated by the inaccurate information that led to wasted trips and planning.

I want to emphasize that updating online listings is crucial to avoid misleading customers. I am simply hoping that this issue is addressed to prevent similar situations in the future. I look forward to giving this restaurant a try once the renovations are complete.

I was so sad to give the score of a “3”. This is one of my favorite places to dine.

I celebrated my birthday here with my friends last night. I had an incredibly wonderful evening because of my friends.

For a moment, I was actually embarrassed because I had never seen it so unkept. It seems to be going “down-hill”. Restrooms are an important part of my dining experience. Unfortunately, the rest room in the cellar area was not tidy at all.

Because I had a party, we were given the limited menu.But, several items on that menu were sold out so early in the evening. One of my friends didn’t have anything but a small side salad. Fortunately, the meals we did receive were delicious.

They were extremely short-staffed. However, the server was great. He had lots of people to serve by himself. He was as attentive as could be serving 3 large parties. Sadly, the kitchen was not prepared for the the guess.

This was not the establishment I know. So hopefully, when I return for my next visit, things will be better.

For my Birthday Bella's absolutely made it special. The food was AMAZING and so was the atmosphere. The piano playing in the background was just the right touch. Richard was our Service Attendant for the evening and his knowledge of the menue selections were notable. It was a memorable Birthday

We started our meal with the calamari appetizer, which was fried perfectly and served with a sweet chili sauce. The salad was fresh and i chose the blood orange vinegrette dressing (excellent). The bread had a nice garlic and salty crust and was chewy on the inside, served with a saucer of olive oil with pesto and a sweet balsamic vinegar. We both had filets cooked medium, which were perfect, and I added the demi-glaze and mushrooms to mine. For dessert we had the sea salt and caramel cheese cake with chocolate sauce. They also had a saxophonist playing live music during the meal, it all made for a very nice evening together!

My husband and I dined here for the first time on our 20yr wedding anniversary last night. We had great experience! Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was romantic and peaceful. Great for a kid free date night! We're definitely going to come back!

We held our rehearsal dinner in the cellar. The food was amazing. Michael, the chef was on point with the grilled pork chops. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Maurice and Tiffany were so accommodating, making sure every single need was met. We can't thank you enough for making our evening so special.

This was an awesome experience for my spouse and I on our 18th Anniversary. Rita was our waitress and she was the best. We had the Ribeye steak as well as penne pasta and bacon wrapped shrimp. We even managed to make room for dessert with a special Anniversary message. The staff was friendly and it was a very romantic atmosphere. From the candle lights, Smooth Jazz and hospitality everything was awesome. Restaurants like this are rare. Thanks Bellas for making our 18th anniversary a real special treat. Keep up the good work
