Service makes a huge difference and everyone at the hotel was helpful. The suite is absolutely beautiful, from the high ceilings to the decorated bathrooms, flooring and fixtures. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in at a hotel. ||||We enjoyed breakfast at Cafe Fig. I was surprised of the quality of food because it only had 3.9 stars. I ordered the avocado toast which was amazing and my husband the sausage breakfast. The sausage was great, and so was the coffee! ||||Walking to the convention center from the hotel was much easier than I anticipated. I was skeptical, but it wasn't bad at all.

Pretty nice stay here. Stayed for 2 nights, and the location can’t be beat! The bathroom was large and well-equipped and the bed was comfortable. I liked that the shower had multiple options (waterfall shower head, handheld shower head, and tub faucet). The waterfall shower head was great! While the location itself is loud, which is unavoidable in this location, the hotel is quiet inside.
If you’re traveling with >2 people, and/or have a lot of luggage, you may not be comfortable in a standard room as it is pretty small. I didn’t mind that, personally.
Some things could have used improvement - fixtures in the bathroom were falling off the wall, and there was only 1 towel hook.
The destination fee also did not seem entirely worth it, and I wish there were more perks that came with it. I would pass up coffee and gym/pool access if it meant putting the destination fee towards the cost of the valet, somehow. Parking options are extremely limited and the valet is expensive.
I would come back to this hotel for a one-night stay, especially if I did not have a car to park.

Best shower of my trip. I stayed in 4 hotels during the stay and it easily beat the others. Great location next to Crypto. Pool area looked great though I didn’t get to use it. Rooms and hotel had character unlike the bland others you can stay in.

Super cute vibe. Got seated right away. Our waiter was Qat. She has a super bubbly personality and got our order super quick. She made the experience even better. Food was great and drinks delicious. Would definitely recommend for others to come.

The bed is comfortable. The amenities are simple and exactly what you want and need. Staff is super helpful and respectful. This hotel understands customer service and best in class service regardless of who you are. Thank you for a lovely stay at a great boutique hotel.

Fine 3-star hotel. Rooms are dark and a bit depressing. Good location if you want to hit downtown attractions, but it's best if you are out of your room a lot and not looking for a nice room to relax and hang out in. The bellman standing at the front door swatting flies and bugs with an electric tennis racket/bug killer was a bit disconcerting.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at this property and we will definitely stay here again if we come visit LA again in the future. The team on site are very friendly and any requests you have are immediately attended to with a big smile on their faces. The breakfast at Cafe Fig was amazing. We loved the aesthetics and design of the lobby and our rooms. We stayed in the King Bed Suite to get the extra living room area, and it was totally worth to add the extra $ for the upgrade. The location is great too - walking distance to many restaurants, stores and shopping centres. We were a bit worried about the homeless situation in downtown but it’s really not that bad around the hotel at all.

My friend and I stayed here back in June and it was OK. Artsy, some nice artwork and design features throughout. Cafe Fig was nice. The pool was decent - get there early for chairs, always full. The rooms were clean, definitely could use some renovations but charming nonetheless.

Unfortunately we were there during an employee strike which could be heard from 7am onward throughout the day, even with windows closed.

Also, the direct area isn’t exactly safe. I wouldn’t walk around… we took Ubers to every destination.
