I can't say enough about the Service (which I know some reviews weren't high on). One of many examples is that we arrived late due to airline delays. Restaurant closes in 5 min. Receptionist sent bags to the room while we went to the restaurant where we ordered from the menu and had the food delivered to the room in about 8 minutes. Everyone from Valet, to receptionist to servers at the restaurant etc... went above and beyond on several occasions during our 4 day trip.||Also, the view from our room overlooking the vineyards (with outdoor fireplace) was very soothing and relaxing (especially with a glass of wine). Great therapy for the soul.||Fantastic experience overall. ||Hotel not too busy (mid March). |Amenities were great. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious (wonderful breakfast too). Bathroom/Toilet (heated seat) were a plus. Comfy bed and quiet room. |Overall, we've stayed at many Ritz/FS/Rosewood etc... Cannot recommend the All enough (first time using this brand of hotel). Only regret is not using the Spa ||Would highly recommend

Exceptional experience from arrival to departure! Wonderful staff and hotel! Restaurant was delicious and rooms was thoughtfully laid out. Linens were very coy and pillows super comfy. We loved the outdoor fireplace in the evening with a glass of wine. Easy access to St Helena and world renowned wine tasting and dining. Le Labo products in the rooms made me feel decadent.

We were fortunate enough to be able to use points for our stay here. The view from our room of the Beringer historic estate was amazing. Room and patio were lovely. Lots of amenities with special touches. All staff we encountered were kind and helpful. The spa is heavenly…massage therapist Luna was fantastic.

We had a magical honeymoon weekend at Alila, in large part thanks to Janice. She hooked us up (after a very last minute request from us) with three truly incredible wine tastings that left us so, so happy with our weekend. On top of that, she and the rest of the Alila staff were so warm, flexible, and accommodating. Our room with private bonfire pit overlooking the winery was stunning, the spaces were all immaculately clean, and the spa was lovely (though we stuck to the complimentary steam room and pool given the short trip). ||||Especially because we booked the property with Hyatt points, this was absolutely worth it for a memorable weekend in the Napa valley.

I had a serious safety incident at Alila Napa Valley due to poor furniture placement. The sofa in my room was directly beneath a wall lamp, making it almost impossible to sit without hitting your head. This is a foreseeable hazard, and what's worse, the hotel clearly knows about it—on their website, the chair is positioned at an angle to avoid this risk, but in my room, it was placed dangerously. See attached pictures.

Beyond the injury, the hotel’s communication was lacking. I reported the issue immediately, yet no staff checked in on my condition. I also emailed the General Manager and received no response.

To make matters worse, when I filed a claim, I was redirected to a third-party claims handler without being informed in advance. Now, despite multiple follow-ups, I still don’t have a proper resolution.

This experience was frustrating and disappointing for a luxury hotel under the Hyatt brand. I expected better safety standards, communication, and customer care.

We loved our stay at the hotel! Our room was amazing and we had such great views. The hotel is very relaxing and luxurious. Valet was great, breakfast was phenomenal, and the pool was so enjoyable. The hotel is a bit further away then we wanted to be, but with the car everything was within a 25 minute drive.

Bring a humidifier. Rooms are very dry. We stayed in two rooms because 1 had a gal that was drunk and yelling randomly throughout the night and laughing. Had a Weird smell in hallways near restaurant which was near our room. Make sure if you ask for a quiet room to make sure that you’re not backing up to the parking lot. The main building had a lot of damage to the outside from the elements. Surprised they weren’t repairing it.
