I always have to treat myself when I’m in Anderson. I try something different every time. The turkey pesto sandwich, veggie wrap and chicken chipotle wraps are amazing. The owners are great too. My first time here a year or so ago, I didn’t have my wallet, so embarrassing, and the owner said she would front me if I could be back within a week. I’m rarely in Anderson and didn’t feel comfortable doing that and the customer behind me said, “I’ll treat”.. no no no. I’ll come back. It’s my go to every time I’m in the area coffees are yummy too. It’s a friendly spot with excellent fresh food.

Super cute, good food & drinks. The man that works there is very nice but the only reason I give it a bad review is because the woman is SO RUDE!! I thought maybe it was jist one or two days but every time I'm there she is so so unwelcoming, cold and rude. I stopped going because of her.

Delicious sandwiches and great service. Take it to go or eat it outside on one of the tables. We had the Turkey Pesto and the Cali panini and both were excellent. The iced tea was fresh and yummy too! Highly recommend supporting this great local place!

We were driving from San Francisco to Lassen National Park and were looking for a place to grab quick lunch. It is always difficult to find healthy options in remote areas, and we are so glad that we came across Cafe Calico. We both got their Mediterranean Salad and it was amazing. Very fresh, portions were generous and the price is impossible to beat. Definitely give this place a try if you are in the area.

Delicious cafe - tomato soup and grilled cheese with pesto was excellent. Really friendly and fast service also. Will be back when we pass through.
