The staff is always friendly, the food’s delicious, and my lattes are always perfect. The pesto veggie bagel is delicious, and their PB&J bagel hits every time. Between getting to work on time or getting Java Beach, it’s Java Beach every single time. 🫶🏼

I've been coming here since I was a teen. I love the food, service and ambiance.
Lately, however, the Judah location has been a bit of a mess with errors... still very friendly employees just a bit distracted?... not sure what's going on.
I typically do to-go orders and often items I've paid for have been forgotten or the food has been a bit sloppy (random tiny portions of chips that are now a la carte, or occasionally the sandwiches having too much sauce, throwing it off).
I hope they get back to making consistent, delicious subs and tighten things up a bit.
I'm still a regular customer. This is a great local business.

Love this place so much! Discovered during my trip to SF, was close to my hotel. Friendly staff & delicious food. Their chai latte and smoked salmon breakfast bagels are my favorite. Close to the beach if you want to take a nice relaxing stroll after having a quick bite. Outdoor seating available but the atmosphere inside is great too. Highly recommend. *edited to add it's right beside the cable car stop

A good place to go before or after time on the beach. Pricey but tasty broccoli cheddar soup. (Good hot but not scolding hot temperature and nice bread that comes with it. Generous with the bread as well. )

Loved the artistic charming paper coffee cups.

Will definitely come back and already enjoyed my experience at another Java Beach Cafe location the last time I was in San Francisco.

Would really like to try next the Cesar salad with chicken.

This is a very nice and social place. Most people were sitting outside because the weather was good. Service is outstanding. Probably this is the best coffee shop near the ocean.

This cafe was right around the corner from our motel. Unfortunately we were looking for more of a breakfast stop with some quick cafe breakfast sandwiches (not really salads and subs) which they did not have. The online menu we looked at was outdated by a year so they no longer sell a lot of the items they used to. Coffee was okay though. And dog friendly patio!

A neighborhood place. Opens really early for breakfast and I love it. Location is great, right across from the zoo. No competitors around. The service was nice, and they offered many varieties.
We had breakfast here, plain oatmeal and bagel & cheese. Decent food!
