Okay! I wanted to give it a shot since it’s a new place close to my house. I went today, and the lady taking my order wasn’t the nicest, but it was okay. I ordered four quesabirria tacos and a large drink. The price for the tacos was not bad, but $8 for a drink, it cost more than an order of two tacos. Heck! If I had known, I would have ordered more food and skipped the drink. 😆 🤣 Four tacos and one drink came to $24.

The food was okay, but I’ve had better. It wasn’t bad or “nasty,” but I just didn’t care for the flavor. It was missing something, but I can’t quite put my finger on it. Overall, I might come back if I can’t find anything else to eat, but it won’t be my first choice. 🙃

The menu is very simple, which is fine with me. The place is really cute, spacious, and very clean, which is always a plus.

Birria and food is excellent. Service was fast. But bring a jacket because the thermostat was set to 50 degrees, it’s freezing in there. I asked the staff to raise the temperature and she said “we don’t mess with it.”

I understand the bad reviews. They ONLY serve birria mix meat and their prices are insane! A tiny sample cup of rice and beans is $5 EACH!! See photo. They ask for a tip but don't wait on you, just take your order. Restaurant prices for cheap fast food quality. Everything is served on styrofoam plates and plastic utensils. We went in August so-cal weather and it was hotter INSIDE than out. Floor mostly clean. Music pretty loud with music videos on the TV. They don't have a menu, just a TV that changes every couple seconds with pictures of the food. No kid meals. No wonder we went Saturday night and were the only ones inside. The only reasons this place gets one star is 1. Google maps won't let me put 0, 2. the girl taking our order was nice and 3. the quesadilla was edible. Do NOT recommend.

The food is okay better than fast food, ie McDonald’s, Taco Bell things right around the area the service leaves a lot to be desired other than blaring music its okay but it makes it where you can’t hear anything and lastly the Tip charge was uncalled for why are the sides being served like drinks.
And frankly for the price I would rather go anywhere else The grease level was incredibly high for the type of food being served

Everything was clean and upscale. The food was fantastic. I had the Birria Torta Ahogada and my wife had the Birria Tacos. Both were fantastic. Perfectly seasoned and the spicy salsa was top tier. Service was prompt and friendly and our food was brought out very quickly. We will definitely be coming back.

I love coming here ! The birria was absolutely delicious, with tender, flavorful meat that melted in my mouth. The consume was rich and savory, perfectly complementing the tacos. The service was friendly and attentive, making the meal even more enjoyable. The aguas are so refreshing🤤i love the horchata to be exact, If you're looking for authentic and mouth-watering birria, birrieria gonzalez is the place to go!
