As a Platinum member, I’m extremely disappointed with my stay. There were no benefits offered—no breakfast, no room upgrade, nothing. I genuinely don’t understand how this hotel is affiliated with Marriott, as the branding misled me into booking with the expectation of receiving the usual level of service and recognition.

Additionally, the location is terrible. It’s right beside a highway, making it noisy all day and night. The overall experience did not meet the standards I expect from a Marriott property, especially for loyal members.

We had to evacuate during the Palisades wildfires. We chose this hotel because they are pet friendly, reasonably priced and in a safe location. The staff, Heath, Yolanda, Angel, managers and house keeping were SO kind to ALL the guests. We stayed for 4 nights and the hotel was completely booked. The staff kept their cool in processing everyone and handling parking. Thank you for being so kind to all of us and our pets.
This hotel is clean, in a safe neighborhood, walking distance to the mall. Plenty of restaurants within a 2 mile radius. The hotel is self sufficient, so you can buy breakfast and dinner here. Internet is good. Great water pressure in the showers. If you want your room cleaned, they will come when you step out for a moment. If you don't want your room cleaned, bed made, fresh towels, put out the do not disturb sign and no one will bother you.
I would stay here again just because the staff was so awesome. Anyone at the front desk is good. The Starbucks and dining are have really good staff. It's clean and bright. The help-yourself food/snack area has a good selection. You can have things charged to your room. There is a public microwave.

Cons: I arrived 35 minutes before check in time. I was told if I wanted to checkin early, would be an extra $50. For 35mins? The toilet flush was so loud. Sounded exactly like a toilet flush in an aircraft. The coffee machine was not working. Expensive car parking even though they heaps of parks.|Pros: Location was pretty handy as you could walk to some nice restaurants.

I stayed at this hotel for my birthday in October and had an overall enjoyable experience. The room was spacious, the location was great, and I appreciated the amenities like the pool and hot tub. The front desk staff were helpful, especially during check-out when they allowed me to leave my bags while I attended an event.

However, my experience took a disappointing turn when I realized I had left an expensive curling iron in the room after checking out. When I returned to retrieve it, the room had already been cleaned. I filed a report immediately and followed up multiple times, but eventually received a call stating that the item could not be found. I know for a fact I left it in the room, so I can only assume it was either taken by someone on the cleaning staff or accidentally discarded.

While the stay itself was great, this incident left a sour note, and unfortunately, I will not be returning to this hotel because of it. It’s a shame, as the stay otherwise had the potential to earn a glowing review.

The room was spacious enough, but unclean at check-in, we had to ask multiple times for them to clean our rooms. My wife stepped on a needle from what we can assume was a previous tenant and that they didn't vacuum at all before we checked in. High surfaces were covered in dust and debris

The dry cleaning offered here was promised same day if you dropped off in the morning but they called me by noon asking me if it was OK that they get it back to me the next day, that's when I saw them take my dry cleaning out at 2pm.

When checking out they had 1 person who didn't know what they were doing manning the lobby so we had to wait for another employee to finish their lunch after, they tried telling it was OK for us to leave without checking out.

The location is nice because you have a mall really close by, but be prepared for the buses to block your view when turning out of the parking lot

Unpleasant 6 night stay. It’s more the equivalent of a Residence Inn or a 2-3 star hotel. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. ||DIRTY: We stayed here because of the convenience. The hotel is not clean (elevator trim hasn’t been cleaned in months, common areas etc.) And Our room was only cleaned 3 TIMES AFTER we complained that housekeeping never cleaned. When we arrived there were pub@c hairs in our shower. ||AMBASSADOR DISservice: For Ambassador level we were given $10 vouchers for 2 people each day. The manager even confirmed they would not offer anything more despite our loyalty. (My husband and I are both Ambassador level.) Even staff rolled their eyes to us about the hotel manager - they all know! ||When we complained several times about housekeeping, the hotel gave us a credit of points which was the equivalent of around $8! ||BREAKFAST SCAM: They charge $22 pp for a breakfast that is typical of a free breakfast at residence inn. Why not just stay at the cheaper hotel? ||It is baffling how this is part of the Marriott brand. Find another hotel!

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing, to the point that we canceled the remainder of our three-night booking after the first night.
1. Noise Issues: The noise from the nearby highway was unbearable. Even on the 7th floor, the constant sound made it impossible to relax or sleep.
2. Uncomfortable Sofa Bed: We chose this hotel because it offered a sofa bed for our kids, but it turned out to be the firmest and most uncomfortable sofa bed we’ve ever encountered. Our young children couldn’t sleep on it at all.
3. Understaffed Night Shift: We requested bedding for the sofa bed, but it took hours for anyone to respond. The bedding wasn’t delivered until 11:40 PM, after repeated follow-ups. By then, we were all too exhausted and frustrated to get any rest.
4. Depressing Atmosphere: The hotel lacked energy and warmth. The staff appeared overworked and tired, which added to the unwelcoming vibe of the place.

We couldn’t imagine staying another night under these conditions and canceled the remainder of our reservation. The hotel needs significant improvements to create a comfortable and inviting environment for guests.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and it was nice. It was remodeled in April and looks good. The room was comfortable and spacious, and included a couch. The location is near 405 and a few miles from LAX. The last time we stayed here, we went to the UCLA campus. It's a few miles away but there aren't a lot of hotels near campus so it's not a bad choice. The only issue is that you can sometimes hear noise from an adjacent room if they are speaking loudly.
