Really nice and clean hotel within 10 minute drive of LAX. The room is very nice and modern and the hotel has a beach feel to it. They provide water for free which is a huge plus and good soaps and shampoo. We had to request a kettle and tea bags and an alarm clock but they dropped those to our room promptly. Service is excellent - they respond to requests cheerfully and try to accommodate your needs. There is a free gym which is decent. The pool is very small and not really worth it but nice to have. The overnight parking is $45 which is extortionate! That meant I had to find street parking around the block, which wasn't too bad. It meant a 5 minute walk to the hotel. But they allow you to drop off your bags and have a 15 minute grace period for that. They have a cool steamer for your clothes instead of an iron. The bed is large and sheets and towels are changed daily and the room is cleaned well. There is free lemon water and coffee downstairs. Overall great experience. Gave 4 stars because price is quite steep but that is expected in LA plus the $45 dollars for parking and additional $17 per night for some city tax and fees they add on. These hidden fees take the price up even higher.

My favorite hotel in LA! The rooms are so clean and the pool is amazing. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant and cafe has great food. The hotel serves free coffee in the morning as well. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the rooms are very quiet — you would never guess it’s located so close to LAX. Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel. Clean and well maintained. The restaurant was excellent and a nice place to have a drink after a long flight. It’s very close to LAX and easy to have an overnight connection rest. Fun to watch the planes fly out of lax. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Love everything about this place! People, service, decor, sound insulation in rooms, location, even shower pressure — all great. In case they can be recognized: breakfast counter on 3/6 - she was amazing; two guys at front desk around 6 am 3/5 so nice and helpful; server 3/5 evening at restaurant / bar - she was great.

I often recommend this place because it is super cute and very close to LAX and LMU. It is not in a scenic area of LA, but the design of the hotel and pool area does a great job of creating a vibe. The rooms are clean and well designed. There are very good food options on site- pricey but high quality. The staff is friendly and helpful. I noticed that there are some maintenance issues with the resort bikes- I really hope they keep the bikes as an option as it is fun to ride them to the beach- they just need a little TLC. On our most recent visit I noticed that the room needed some better window blinds- but again I think this might just be a maintenance issue for the hotel as it is a few years from its re-design. This is not a resort, but it is a chic hotel with an excellent price point.

Great little boutique hotel for a quick LAX stopover. Cute design with great amenities including Aesop soaps. Edward at the front desk made our stay extra special and hooked us up with an upgraded room and free drinks at the bar.

Location - perfect. As we were in LA for less than 48hrs (arriving in the evening and leaving late afternoon), it was only a 5 minute Uber to and from LAX which is perfect, especially for the departing flight time. Plenty of meal options nearby.
Rooms - we had a 2 bedroom family apartment for the 4 of us which was perfect. Plenty of space for so much luggage too. Rooms were clean and bed and pillows comfortable.

This area is sketchy at night, and the rooms have huge water stains. My sister and I did not feel safe during our short stay as we heard someone trying our door while we were in bed. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you’re tempted to book solely based on decor. It felt like a sketchy remodeled motel to us.
