We absolutely love this hotel! Daniel checked us in with a welcoming smile and cheerful attitude. We had a small issue with the TV not working in our room and Daniel personally came up to help us into a new room. His co worker Jose was equally great! ||We’re (family of 4) staying for a whole week while doing college tours and picked this hotel because the rooms are larger sized than normal hotel rooms. They have high ceilings and almost floor to ceiling picture windows. The bathrooms are huge and very important when traveling with family. ||There is a Coffee Bean and Tea coffee shop as well as Krispy Kreme donuts downstairs. ||We definitely recommend this hotel!

Alex José and Daniel were excellent. Really clean facilities lovely staff, amazing room. Will definitely be back again one of the better places we’ve stayed in LA. Location is also amazing. I really recommend the In-N-Out Burger. 24 hour shuttle to the airport and a really good bar and restaurant downstairs.

Stayed 5 nights, indicated need for house keeping on 3rd night but they never came. Rooms are good quality, high ceilings, clean. Bathroom was spacious, but previous guest's hair was stuck to the shower wall. Staff did not tell me if in-house gym was available. Nice view of airport takeoffs and landings. A la carte breakfast is expensive, unlike other Hilton properties where breakfast is included. Snacks for purchase were very expensive, pack of small donuts cost $8 which you can find in a grocery store for $3.

Alex & Jose at the front desk were fantastic! After a long day of flying we were picked up by the shuttle and were quickly dropped off at the H. We were greeted quickly and in no time on our way to the room. Our luggage was delivered within a few minutes. They both did more than I’ve come to expect from most hotels. They made our stay special.

Great service and check in assistance from Jose L! He was friendly, helpful and a nice person to welcome you after a long flight. Hotel is super close to LAX and has a convenient shuttle as well. We will certainly consider staying here again. .

Review by lifetime diamond

Well I just had a horrible experience and I wasn’t even staying here. We are lifetime diamond members and picked up a car next door at midway . We walked here to ask to use the LOBBY restroom and were told NO without a key from next door. I went back without a license as I was not the renter and was told NO. Now I’m doing the restroom dance and no one would help me! Mayra came and explained why however doesn’t change the fact that as a lifetime member and quite a VIP I can’t use a lobby restroom? What if I was picking someone up and waiting? I felt like less than human and it was very degrading! I guess I look homeless? I guess I look dirty? There is no way this is decent respectful or kind! I came to tears and was lucky I did get the key but after such an ordeal I was stunned and angry. They also reminded me that it was private property and they can refuse usage or service to anyone. I can’t even explain how I felt when I left however such an awful experience and they were so unbending. We now give service to the lowest common denominator and screw the others? This is a sad state of USA when we have to now beg to use reatroom unless we have a room reservation! If you are diamond stay away let them know it isn’t ok to treat the best customers like the worse!

Endless kudos to the staff at the H Hotel. I loved them as much as I did my room with view on two sides and the amazing observation deck at the top of the hotel. It is an Aviation Geek's dream. The sweeping views of the runways and airport proper make for some of the best plane spotting in the world.

But back to the staff. Jose checked me in for my two-night stay and was very helpful in getting me familiar with the hotel and its amenities. He was an ideal "host" for my stay.

On my second night I dropped by the reception desk and was greeted by Alex and Daniel. Smiling seems to come easily to both of them. I had a few questions regarding both the hotel and the local area. I got fast and accurate answers to all of them.

Finally, before departing, I made a final visit to the twelfth floor outdoor space to catch a final glimpse of the planes coming and going at LAX. It just happened that the sales manager (I believe his name was David) gave me some interesting background about the property. I loved all of the insights he was able to provide. Like the rest of the staff, he was warm and welcoming.

I will be back!

Great room and plenty of space. Had to go for a work trip and knew home wood suites would be great for the trip due to plenty of space. My bed was comfy and I had plenty sleep for my classes for work. Staff was friendly and Alex was very helpful during my stay.
