This coffee shop made a good impression, but not without some minor flaws. The interior is the main highlight: lots of pink, transparent chairs, coziness and style in every detail. I would also like to note the cleanliness of the place. The atmosphere is complemented by pleasant music playing in the background, creating the perfect setting for relaxing or meeting friends. There are also various accessories for sale here, such as caps, T-shirts, and coffee cups in the colors of the cafe.

The menu has a good selection of desserts, and the staff is friendly and attentive, which is a pleasure. I tried a matcha latte - it tasted good, but the drink was so hot that it burned my hands. It would be great if they took this into account when adding protective holders and, of course, the temperature of the drink should be correct in the first place.

Overall, this is a place for those who like beautiful locations and a relaxing vacation. However, I wish that the little things didn't spoil the overall impression.

Drove and sat an hour in traffic to go here to enjoy my cousins 16th birthday and the staff told us that the kitchen was closed 50 minutes before closing. They handed us the menu to look at and told us when we were all ready to order that it was closed.

Excellent breakfast menu and coffee. Almond croissants were delicious. Fun atmosphere and friendly customer service. A must go if you want a special way to start your day. Today this little Cafe became my favorite in Corpus Christi. Go by and enjoy yourself.

The service was outstanding. The gentleman that took my order made sure everything was correct. Hands down my avocado bagel with cream cheese was probably the best one I’ve ever ate in my life. Their cream cheese is so delicious. I’ve never had anything like it before. I also ordered a dirty chia and it hit the spot. This is a great little cafe in the heart of La Mesa. Especially for a girlie girl it’s so pretty in pink. It has plenty of selfie photo opportunities. I highly recommend.

Updated after owner replied:
Based on the snarky tone of the owner, I actually WOULDN'T RECOMMEND popping in here, even if it does have cute decor.

Of course I understand that businesses run out of ingredients, duh. Free tip: if the back runs out of something, they should let the front know so that they're able to let the customer know right away at the time of their order. There have been many times I go to order something somewhere and the cashier lets me know that the item I want is not available. At that time I'm able to make a decision to either not place an order or to order something else.
To have a customer wait for over 10 minutes for a mostly pre-made drink before then telling them that that you can't make their drink doesn't seem customer-forward. However after reading your reply I'm not surprised though, it's very clear you're not customer forward at all and that's why I don't recommend people come here, even if you do have incredible avocado toast! 😉

Original review:
Cute entrance and interior decor - very instagrammable but the speed of service and offerings left something to be desired. We ordered a lemonade that cost $7... And after waiting about 10 minutes for us, they found me to tell me they actually were out of an ingredient and could not actually make the lemonade 🥴 Some of their other food offerings sounded good, but $17 for avocado toast is a bit much, even in San Diego.

Really cute place as you can see the pictures, great environment! The food is overpriced and they don’t have to many options. The coffe is good, I got a pumpkin spicy latte and I could really taste it, the coffe is not too strong, I would say it’s medium.. In my opinion it’s not a place for studying/working, there’s no outlet to charge your devices, so I would say it’s more for going out with a friend…

I in a group of friends visited the café. I was pleasantly surprised with a variety served by the menu and the beverages, either hot or cold tea or coffee. Everything was delicious.
