I came during the off-time and was half expecting the service to be slacking and the food to be mediocre, but it wasn't -- on either count!

Although it's a pretty small menu (one page of food and one page of booze) they must really go the extra mile based on the things I sampled because everything was delicious.

Since I wasn't in the mood for a burger I got a couple of apps and the Cuban quesadilla was a real winner! The pork was tender and juicy, the ham umami and salty and the cheese gooey and melty. What really set it off was the combination of vinegar-y pickles inside and a honey mustard dipping sauce that was creamy and rich with just a light tang.

The Crispy Chicken Bacon was also great but was quite small in size, probably only one or two little thighs, but still a good size enough for sharing. The thighs were roasted crisp and served with a jerk sauce that was lightly spicy. A wonderfully creamy ranch was served as a dip that took it to the next level.

I also got to sample a bite of the pimento cheese that goes on the burger and it was excellent as well. It had a great texture - not too lumpy or weirdly smooth - and a lovely subtle cheese tang thanks to being made with a white cheddar.

Service was really excellent as well. Not only was the server's recommendations useful but she never let our drinks go dry.

Of course, the view is also a highlight as the restaurant's name would suggest. The dining room is big, and windows are wall to ceiling so everyone has a good view even if you don't sit outside on the patio.

I'd say the only complaint I could muster is that the Community brand sweet tea wasn't very good, but that's true at every restaurant that serves it. Red Diamond or even Leroy Hill would be an upgrade.

Overall, a great little gem of a place with quality food in a pleasant atmosphere.

This is by far the best and most affordable meal we’ve eaten in the area. Autumn our server was extremely friendly and helpful and gave wonderful suggestions.

Oreo Cheesecake

Every single plate of food delivered from the kitchen looks delicious and we wish we were here longer to eat more.

Ambience is great as well. Sitting outside in the evening to watch the sunset is a vibe.

1st time dining. Enjoyed pimento cheese appetizer and a chicken appetizers (can't remember the name) both were good. We all had a burger with French fries. Mudslides for the win. We sat outside and they had live music. The atmosphere is wonderful. The view you can't beat. The service was great by each staff member encountered. Can't wait to go to Bingo on a Monday night.

I was down visiting my son and daughter-in-law and they suggested stopping at The Waterfront to eat. I'm so glad they did...Service was great, food was Amazing, the Margarita's superb and the view outside on the deck was refreshing! Highly recommend going to The Waterfront if your ever in the area!

The food was incredible, the food was phenomenal and atmosphere was lovely. The server we had was great, I don’t think she said her name but she was so nice. The goat cheese burger and bush whacker drink was so good.

First time for lunch last week. The atmosphere is beautiful and special. Hubby had the snapper sandwich and I had the Royal. Both were delicious and the right size without being stuffed. Will definitely be going back to try other menu items. Very relaxing, casual place and the food is delectable.

We just ate at The Waterfront and it was a great experience. Friendly, smiling staff, prompt service and delicious food. The Street Cauliflower appetizer was awesome. We had tacos and they were really stuffed and so tasty! Reasonably priced and an amazing location overlooking Mobile Bay. Beautiful murals on the walls inside. An excellent, crisp, clean and fresh remodel of the former Lake Forest Yacht Club. Highly recommend!
