Had a great stay. Everything was clean and the staff (Liz) are super friendly. There was an odor in our room but it wasn't terrible and didn't smell it anywhere else. Guessing someone spilled something. Breakfast was awesome. Simple and delicious. Ms Q is a wonderful lady. She really took care of us. I'd definitely stay here again.

We had reservations at this Fairfield Inn for months; however, with Hurricane Milton arriving in FL, we left early for our trip through MS with this being our first stop. The manager, Jessica, was so kind to find a room 'early' for us since we had driven through the night and had been awake for over 30 hours. The room was very clean, comfy, and all personnel was friendly and efficient.

Everyone at the hotel was warm and welcoming. The staff are all wonderful, but I need to call out Ms. Q who prepared a consistently wonderful breakfast and kept the area fresh and clean every day. She was also kind enough to lend me some room spray when I microwaved my lunch in the room. I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed one night on 6/4/24. We had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The employees were really friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. Most hotels the breakfast attendant doesn't talk to anyone. The lady on 6/5 was going around table to table asking everyone if there was anything they needed and offered to bring us anything we needed. She was great and deserves to be recognized. I just don't remember her name. Every other employee we interacted with thanked us for staying, asked how our stay was, and told us to have a great and safe trip. I will definitely be back next time we are going through Dothan.

Book as a stopover on our way to our final destination. The front desk staff was very welcoming. We got 3 rooms and one of them smelled terribly bad from must/mold. The front desk staff kindly moved us upon request to a somewhat less smelly room. The second was similar, but not nearly as bad. The third was ok, but smelled strongly of a perfumey odor. The pool area was very small compared to the photo on the website and the water was not clean. The breakfast was very good and, again, the staff working in that area in the morning was absolutely wonderful. For the price paid and the reputation of the brand, I was disappointed with the stay.

The room was very nice. The bed was super comfortable. |Ms Q in the breakfast station was very nice. She kept the stuff stocked and organized neatly. Nice selection of food. She kept it very clean. Definitely will recommend this hotel to other family members.

The room was okay… clean… missing a few things like an iron a hair dryer etc… however the staff was excellent and most accommodating … especially the breakfast staff. She was amazing. Helpful efficient and wonderful! MSQ/BFAST. We would stay here again on our next visit!

Front office staff was friendly & competent.

Room 212 was in terrible disrepair. There was a large hole in the wall, nasty stains on the corner chair, the lampshades had water stains, the shower took manipulation to make the water come out of the shower head, and the room had a musty/unclean odor. There wasn't even a trash receptacle in the bathroom.

We arrived late at night (after driving for 12+ hours) and left before 7am; once we realized everything wrong, we didn't want to pack back up and change rooms.

I told the front desk person about all the issues as I checked out and suggested they take room 212 out of rotation to address all of those problems; she said she'd let the manager know.

As I looked at the venue's reviews on our drive home, I saw the same issues and pictures posted over a month ago! ? The manager responded to that post, so clearly they're aware of the damages...and the hole in the wall has grown in size since last month's review.

Even the bench seats in the breakfast area are worn and need replacing.

We generally favor Marriott properties, and have stayed at other Fairfield properties in the past, but this was VERY disappointing.
