When coming here at around three in the afternoon on a sunday, it was pretty busy, but for a table of three, it was a twenty to thirty-five minute wait. The service and the staff are really friendly. Definitely, love that. The food is all right. It's neither the best nor the worst. The only thing that I have to say is that it's not a hundred percent authentic. If it helps to understand better, there is a big majority of white people that come in. Again, the food is all right. Staff is great, nor the worst, and not the best.

My date and I showed up on a Wed at 6:30 and they told us it was going to be a 45 min wait so we went somewhere else. I should have made a reservation because it looked like they were having birthday parties when we walked in. Again, I should have made a reservation but I know how popular this restaurant is and I will have to come back and make a reservation. The food smelled amazing. I didn't want to do a full evaluation because I made the mistake of not making a reservation. I didn't want to bring down their numbers either.

Best carnitas in town!! Probably in the state. This place is definitely on my top list for Mexican food when I visit the Fresno area. The food all around was really really good, and service was fast. I enjoy how there’s chips and great salsa from the moment you sit down.

Sal's is a great place to get very good Mexican food. I personally recommend the Jame's Special, which comes with either red or green sauce. The staff is always friendly, and ready to drop off more chips to use with their great salsa. They're always busy for a reason, and it can be hard to find good parking since they're so popular.

Visited for the first time, walking up to the establishment , we noticed a sign with the specials (menudo)👀.
As soon as we entered we were greeted & shown to our table, no wait at all. Took a glance at the menu & placed our order. The food was served relatively fast & we went to work.
Very satisfied with the entire staff, great atmosphere & our menudo🍲 was okay. Chips & Salsa was really good 🤤.
Can't wait to make another visit to try other items on the menu, maybe the Sal's Fancy Burrito 🌯👀.
