The service desk folks were great and very helpful. I wish i could remember their names, but both ladies were very friendly. You can tell a lot of travelers stay here. Room 227 was fine, little beat up on the base boards and walls. We all have different comforts, but for my wife, kids, and I, we enjoyed the comfort of the queen sizes beds. The a/c blew very well and nicely got our room to 68º during the middle of summer. The pool area is nice, and the kids enjoyed it. And lastly, the variety of coffees were kept up throughout the whole day and the breakfast items were great... Would stay again...

I came in town with family. We split ourselves between two rooms and stayed two nights. Rooms were clean and recently updated. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was typical hot hotel breakfast, no complaints. Coffee was good- and I am picky about coffee. In the evening there were warm cookies in the lobby 🙂
Easy to get to, easy drive to Gulf Shores.

As the ole saying goes... you get what you pay for so do your homework and don't waste your money on this hotel. Was in Fairhope for a medical procedure and went with the lowest price. The room smelled of mold and mildew. The air conditioner unit and filter were filthy dirty. I had to wash the filters in the shower to clean them. Also bought spray disinfectant to sanitize the room/carpet so I could breathe. Also no one available to clean the room. I had to empty the trash cans and get clean towels from the front desk. Sad part is I am a Choice Hotel member.

This place was an actual nightmare. We had a leak in our roof and it sprayed water on our faces over our bed. We notified management and it took 5 days to get a manager who would call back after we pestered them. They gave me a $40 refund. Not sure where this $40 came from but whatever.
All I wanted was a full refund. When the manger did call back, she said they basically found no evidence that there was an issue in the room and didn’t believe our story. Mind you, this was after my sister had to ask for a new room because it smelt like mold and mildew. Spend your money on another hotel that is nice and updated and respects visitors.
But if you wanna get sprayed in the face with cold, dirty water at 4 am then this is the place to be. Oh and I couldn’t even tell a front desk person because he was asleep and I couldn’t wake him up. I had to find the next available person! Do better..like actually. Gross. 0/10. Never again.

I would give a 5 star but one thing really grinds my gears. The lady that serves breakfast is obnoxious!!! She has a radio and she blasts Jesus music to the point that it drowns out the tv. Then she sings loudly too. I’m all for being faithful but her voice sounds like a chainsaw against sheet metal!!!

This hotel is infested with German roaches! We stayed here on July 3rd 2024 in room 208 and after we received our DoorDash food roaches came out and ran across mine and my daughter’s food! I let the lady at the front know what happened and she blamed the restaurant. Later on that evening more roaches including baby roaches came out and were on the table by the tv. I let the manager know and she called me back and said that she was going to discount my room and credited me $30 for the bugs. They definitely need to address this infestation!

My family and I stayed here for a night and cannot say enough good things! All of the staff were super helpful and kind. The room was very clean and tidy and the breakfast was probably the best I’ve experienced at a hotel. There was a wide variety and appeared to have been prepared with thought and care. We will return when in the area! Thank you!

One of those places you wonder how they are still open or at the very least part of a chain. Staff was great but can't make up for the lack of mo ey the owner obviously doesn't spend on upkeep. Rooms are horrendous. Pics will speak for themselves. The only thing not shown is how damp the rooms feel (sheets literally wet). And how does one explain packing tape on a toilet seat
