I've been to El maguey a couple of times over the last couple of years. The food was never good but my last experience was horrific. The woman in the truck was very rude and didn't give me the sauce and sour cream she charged me for. When I came back for it she charged me again and didn't fulfill my special request on my food.

I have been coming here for more than 10 years and their food has never disappointed me. Yummy tacos. My family and I love their quesadillas.

Tasted great, as always. Been eating here for years. Service is always great. As I experience any where I go, even if the person behind the counter is overwhelmed with customers, or if they are having a bad day, actually, specially if they are having a bad day or they just put up with some customer being an a-hole to them, just a little appreciation, kindness, and if you can, a couple bucks for a tip, can make a big difference in their day and they will in return, show you the same appreciation, respect, and kindness for your effort. The people at this truck, even in the middle of a scorching summer day, have always shown that courtesy. My usual favorites here are the Burrito supreme (I like the Polo as Im keeping it healthy) and cant leave without at least two, if not four, carna asada tacos. Soooo good. The jalepino/radishes/limes served with them are terrific. Word of caution, careful when squeezing that lime onto you food. The limes been snuggled up cozy with those spicy jalapeno's. In an overly exerted, excited, strong man competition style squeeze, I managed to squash that lime to smitherines, sending that searing, taco love juice, straight into my eye. Did it Burn? Like a son if a *$#&@. Though, I was more concerned on being able to see the next attempted squeeze onto my taco through watering eyes. Priorities you know. My instincts kicked in and I shut out the sting. It was just me and these tacos, nothing else existed. Theres time to feel the burn later. Mission accomplished. Would I do it again if I had to squirt my eye like that again? Absolutely worth it. 😂

Prices are ridiculous. $9.50 for a burrito supreme... $10 for a quesadilla with a bit of meat.?NEVER AGAIN. The best burrito I've ever had has not been worth more than $8.00 and a quesadilla for more than $6 is CRAZY....

The constant harassment by the homeless is ridiculous. I bought 2 tacos for one person and then was bombarded by 3 others.

It was late all the other taco trucks closed up and left with several people in lines trying to get food. This truck stayed until every last person was served. They didn't have to but they knew people were hungry and happily served everyone. Great food and great service

Quality has gone way down, price has gone way up. By far the worse taco truck burritos we have ever had. Have been going to this specific truck for 7 years. Won't be wasting our money here again. Will drive the extra bit to go to Taco Jessica's. So disappointing. $8.50 for a burrito Supreme, is pretty outrageous. Considering how low the quality was. Just all bean and slop.

The food truck was scheduled for 3 hours 11 am to 2pm. They were over an hour late. Then at 138pm they told people they were leaving. The food terrible. Ordered chicken I did not get chicken they even wrote chicken on the foil. Instead it was some type of dark mystery meat all dried up and lots of gristle . No cheese no cream no salsa just dry rice dry meat and a few beans wrapped in a small flour tortilla . The burritos are way smaller than taco truck burritos. L Do not hire for any occasion.
