Began throwing up within 15 minutes of eating, girlfriend too.

I don't post reviews, but I have never had this happen to me in my life. We both noticed too much refried beans, then shortly after started having upset stomachs and hurling.

Edit: it finally stopped an hour later. We each ate no more than half. It was 100% the beans.

Since I can't respond to comments, it was your beans. We had different items and that was the only thing in common. Very rude of you to respond the way you did. I wanted to give a local small business a try and be supportive and this is what happens.

Great food and friendly service. We started with the jalapeño poppers, which were delicious. Special of the day was green chile potato taquitos with rice and beans. As expected, they were good but bland. We finished with a pumpkin stuffed sopapilla served with vanilla ice cream. Highly recommend the stuffed desserts. Many more tempting items on the menu to try, we'll be back.

I and my friends visited This place for lunch. It was super busy we had to wait 5mins to get the table. Food arrived on time and all were really delicious. The service was super cool and heard that it was neighborhood favorite Mexican food place. Even though the place is small it was great.

One of a kind! Living in Southern California offers many luxuries, one of which is the incredible diversity of food options but one that is always lacking I find is food from the next couple of states over. Until I found this gem with their Navajo tacos and sopapillas. Outstanding!

The Green Chile is a fantastic place to experience New Mexico style food. The chili and sopapilla’s are a must.

It’s located in a small shopping strip and if you aren’t paying attention it’s easy to miss.

The staff is great and explained any questions on the menu that came up. The first time I had the stacked enchiladas, smothered with pork green chili and a fried egg. I could eat that every time, but want to explore other items as well. Others with me had the stuffed sopapilla that looked delicious.

This time I ordered the southwest style flautas and of course had to take a order of sopapillas to go.

When your in the area I recommend stopping in and letting your taste buds decide for themselves!

The quality here is amazing especially for the price. Everything seems freshly made and the portions are very generous. I’ve tried the Navajo taco and the green chile cheeseburger so far and both were excellent. The frybread for the Navajo taco was so flavorful and despite it being fried, it didn’t taste overly oily and dense. The green chile cheeseburger’s patty was perfectly cooked and the fries had a great texture and flavor. Authentic and delicious Southwestern food is such a rarity around here so I am glad The Green Chile exists. The food here is definitely not to be missed.

One my favorite restaurants. Chile Verde is delicious. Double stack cheese enchiladas are some of the best around. Chili verde Sopadillas are so good. Small place. Opens at 11am...Definitely worth a visit
