A beautiful and well manicured oasis in the Keys that caters to an upscale crowd whether it’s a couple or family with children. Rooms by the ocean are so convenient to everything and chairs always available by the beach. Food at sushi place was excellent and superb service from all resort staff. Tiki bar was fun and well stocked with drinks and high quality food. Front desk were always available and friendly. Loved our experience here and will make it a frequent place to escape and enjoy all the amenities Cheeca has to offer its guests! Thank you for making a trip with my daughter so memorable and relaxing.

I would love to give Cheeca Lodge and Spa a 5 star review, I found the location to be beautiful and well maintained and the staff to be incredibly polite and hospitable. However, due to several experiences I had this week, I cannot. Firstly, I went to book a "Casita" on Cheeca's website. I did this as it gave a pet friendly option. Upon checking in, I found out that the "Casita" was not actually pet friendly, and that despite using the link for a "casita", I had not actually booked one, just a standard room. This was frustrating, due to our stay being a vacation for my wife's birthday, but I could get over it. Upon checking in I found the room dated, the A/C fan rattled, and outlets appeared to have scorch marks on them.
Secondly, we were woken up at 0700 the next morning by the landscapers trimming palm trees directly outside our window, waking up both my wife and daughter. We got up and ordered room service, it took longer than estimated and upon arrival, the food was both cold and not very good. We took breakfast outside on the screened in deck, only to see that the landscapers were now cutting down palms and operating heavy machinery and a wood chipper, now 0900. Not a relaxing way to start our morning, especially considering we were staying adjacent to the spa...
Thirdly, we could not ever use any of the pools as there was nowhere to sit. This was our mistake, as we should have gotten there around 0900 to reserve chairs, but just a heads up for future guests.
I wish we had experienced a great stay here, I have been driving past Cheeca Lodge for a decade now and have always wanted to stay. After this visit I think we'll try something else, should we decide to stay in the area again.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS place, it's a DUMP! It is covered and I mean COVERED in mold! For over $1000 a night you can do MUCH better in the Keys. No one should be subjected to this place for ANY reason! When we arrived we were given an "upgrade" to a lagoon room. This was NO upgrade! The room was disgusting. The disposal didn't work the TV didn't work, there was a burnt out bulb in the bathroom, the phone didn't work, the bathroom sink leaked all over the place, the shower was IMPOSSIBLE to regulate and the place was dirty, dark and rundown. And let's talk about an UNBELIEVABLE amount of mold in the shower. The next morning at 10am we asked to speak to a manager. No one ever contacted us. At 1pm we spoke to a Food and Beverage Manager and finally got a phone call about an hour after that from "Natalie." I also cancelled a massage that I had with that manager for 2pm as I refused to give this resort another $280. That appointment was never cancelled and we are still waiting to see if they charge our credit card for it. After much back and forth, Natalie said they would change our room and comp us the "resort fee" that they extraneously charge anyway. A bellman was supposed to come to the room to help us move and never showed up so we did it ourselves and then went to the front desk to get new keys. The second room was better but still had MOLD in the shower. This room was a downgrade to our first room. Natalie asked if we drank...apparently she would have sent us some alcohol for all our trouble but we don't drink. My husband informed Natalie that a complimentary massage would be nice for me but of course they refused to do that for us. We tried VERY hard to get out of this place but since it was spring break it was not possible to move hotels. Even the adult pool was nasty with cracked tile, algea and more MOLD everywhere throughout the pool. Showers in the changing room that didn't work. DO NOT STAY HERE, this place is gross and for the price it should be PERFECT!

This is a fantastic resort. The front gate/security attendants were the first to greet us as we arrived. Their attitude and friendliness told us this was a special place. We were ushered into the lobby which smells like flowers. Check in was easy and quick. Rooms are spectacular. Very clean and spacious. The 3
pools were refreshing. The pier is peaceful. They have a free shuttle that will take you within a 2 mile radius of the hotel. Doesn't sound too much but within those 2 miles, there are a couple of dozen restaurants. The only thing is that you need a master's degree in mechanical engineering to figure out the shower controls. After a minute or so, it made sense. This is a great place with great staff and immaculate grounds.

Stopped off on the way down to Key West for two nights. Loved the hotel. From the moment we entered, we felt right at home. Lovely staff, great location and even better facilities. Resort fee includes everything from parking to golf, tennis, pickleball, basketball, bikes, table tennis, drop off and pick up within a two mile radius…. I usually hate resort fees (just include it in the room rate!!) but I honestly didn’t mind paying here. Yes the rooms could do with a bit of an update, but they are super comfy and clean. Would highly recommend!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience during our 8 day stay. To begin, all of the people at check in were very knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining all of the opportunities that were available to us. The rooms were first class and any employee that we encountered was helpful. I mentioned that the ice machine on our floor was not working and the staff member immediately brought us a bag of ice so would not have to wait while they were fixing it.|The meals were delicious as well as the service of all of the waiters. |We have traveled extensively and stayed in many 5 star accommodations and I would put The Checca Lodge in that category.

You’ve found it!! THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY! Cheeca is the ultimate resort in the keys! The facilities are amazing, the staff are super nice and engaging and the rooms are so flash and nice. The ocean view rooms are unmatched and even have a spa on the balcony. All the food at the restaurants was delicious, and all the activities like golf, paddle boarding and fishing are all included. I would recommend this place to anyone!! Shout out to Anna who was a legend at check in!!
