Our family held a reunion at LJBTC with 34 people in 13 rooms for varying stays. All members of the staff from the reservation process through the final check out were amazing. They treated us all with kindness and respect at all times, and all of our of requests were honored. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the grounds kept impeccably. We enjoyed many of the on site activities.||The only issue we all experienced was that you are able to hear conversations in adjoining rooms because they are old buildings.

Love the facilities and the view, and the room itself is quite nice. Only issue we had was with the noise level of our particular room (Room 108). It is right next to the beach services station and the walls are pretty thin, so lot's of noise coming through, even as early as 6am. Staff is friendly and we enjoyed the Walnut lounge. And the surrounding area is really nice as well.

A wonderful place for both a short getaway and a longer stay. Perfect for renewing both body and soul. The staff is very welcoming and attentive, |the grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the accommodations unusually large and comfortable. The seamless blending of local historical architecture and modern California syle provides a truly unique experience.

Parts of the facility were being renovated so it limited the experience. The property is fantastic, particularly for families and more so families with young children. There is definitely more than enough staff to accommodate the guests.

Excellent service as always! View can't be beat. although restaurant is undergoing remodeling they did a good job hosting guests in the Walnut Room and at other restaurants on the property. Highly recommended, no other place quite like it. We stopped counting # of our visits at 25 and that was at least 15 years ago!

La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club has the best ocean views we have ever experienced! Our room was just feet from the ocean and dining at the Marine Room after a supermoon was an incredible experience. (I am told this is an SD tradition.) Although the rooms are a bit older in design, they were very clean and very comfortable. Our kitchen came very well stocked with cooking and eating utensils. I also had outstanding tennis lessons with their pros Reeves and Emily!

Uncomfortable beds, rooms that are completely run down, appliances that don’t work… the blinds in our room were completely broke . The room was literally falling into the floor below it. We had to call to housekeeping twice because of dirty sheets that weren’t ours! It’s fairly unbelievable how much they’ve let this place go.

Title: A Gem in La Jolla - Five Stars!

I recently started staying at La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club for my corporate travel over the last four months, and I have been pleasantly surprised by how amazing it is in every single way! My newfound passion for tennis has been greatly supported here. My tennis instructor, T, was incredibly accommodating, offering early lessons at 6:30 AM, which is quite rare in the tennis community.

What truly blew me away was the dedication of Doug, the tennis master. He went above and beyond by setting up the tennis ball machine for me at 6 AM, even coming in on his day off to make it happen. He texted me in advance to let me know he would be there, which really impressed me!

The accommodations have been fantastic. The Marine Room by the water is the perfect way to start the day, just a 45-second walk to the beach and a minute to breakfast by the ocean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The receptionists have also gone out of their way to assist me in finding a tennis instructor who could meet my early morning schedule.

Overall, I am ecstatic with the service here and excited to become a lifelong customer. Highly recommend La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club to anyone looking for a great stay!
