A wonderful resort right on the beach, just south of Oceanside pier. Lovely units with refrigerator, stove top and convection microwave. Staff is fantastic, garage or permit street parking. Office provides beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach towels and bicycles. A truly enjoyable beach vacation.

I've been coming here since I was in diapers 30 years ago. My parents use to own 8 weeks. Although oceanside has drastically changed, this place remains a constant staple. I remember being a toddler scared of the concrete pebble stairs because they had open spaces between each step. I remember getting in trouble for playing hide and seek with my cousins in the fire staircases as a child, and doing arts and crafts in the library. I remember all the hours spent in the library as teenager hanging out with my best friends at night. I remember getting ready for prom here. I now take my toddler here as she struggles with the stairs and is learning to swim in the jacuzzi like I did.
With all that being said I have one question, will the arcade, full service breakfast, or the gym ever come back? Those were the days.

This is a great place. The customer service was top notch. The staff was friendly, super attentive, welcoming and accommodating. John, the G.M. was on site and very visible to the guests. Definitely will stay here again. The rooms are huge and everything you need is right at your fingertips. They supplied Bach chais, umbrellas, towels, bikes...just awesome!!

This place is awesome. Very Nice place to stay and they have very nice rooms all the way up to a 3-bedroom the rooms are very good size and have full kitchens the view is amazing of Carlsbad and the ocean they have a car that will take you pretty much anywhere within 5 miles the staff is very friendly and there are some good things to do on the property also a good plus is a Karl Strauss is on the property

Friendly, casual Beach side Resort. Excellent location for almost anything and everywhere. On the Strand and next to pier for walks, biking, skateboarding, driving (not on pier) . Can get crowded on weekends and holidays. Ruby's Diner at end of pier. Juice stand, coffee stand, and a fish place on strand. Beautiful views from Beach side rooms, comfy, filled with all you need. Court yard style... so please don't be to loud or let your kids run around. Nice and quiet. Great places for kids on strand and be a h playgrounds.

I got to stay here as part of a local Youth Conference. The facility was great!
It's an odd setup because you check in on the 4th floor (on the side facing the land) while the beach and ocean are accessed from the 1st floor, but it's no biggie because there's an elevator right in the check-in lobby.
My son and I had a great time there!

This is such a beautiful place and it is kept up well. I come with friends when they are visiting their time share and it never disappoints. Close to the ocean, close to restaurants and 'night life' or quiet life. It is just down the street a few steps from the historic building used to film 'Top Gun' - so for now a little piece of history still remains near Grand Pacific. Rubies is nearby, for those who love the hamburgers they sell, at the end of the pier.
Buildings are clean, well kept, and a friendly staff make this a wonderful place to visit.
