Overall the hotel is quite dated. Our suite was very spacious but everything was soooo old and in need of some tlc (both bathroom faucets were loose and crooked, tile was chipped, sofa very worn). |BUT…|The location is fantastic, very close to cute Claremont Village, walking distance to Trader Joe’s, etc. Service during breakfast (which is pretty solid, lots of hot and cold options plus omelet station) is phenomenal. These guys work so hard and are so pleasant and professional.||It was a very pleasant stay.

Staying here is always a good experience, it seems quite popular and busy due to the amount of clientele whenever I stay here. The hotel has all amenities that you expect of a 3 star hotel. While it might not be a 5 star hotel, it does have 5 star service! One staff in particular named Desiree(Apologies if I spelt the name wrong) was extremely helpful and immediately resolved any issues during my stay, she definitely deserves a raise!

This is a very clean well established hotel. I like the large rooms, very comfortable beds and pillows. It had a separate shower and bathtub. I don’t think quality hotels should have a shower in the tub. So that was nice. I don’t use tubs. They had a restaurant and bar which is nice . Breakfast Buffett was included. The desk staff were cordial and helpful. For anything you are doing in this area it’s a good choice.the rooms surround the pool area. There is ample parking. I spent two nights for a pickleball tournament.

The architecture, grounds, and amenities (bathrobes, cookies, etc.) are pleasing, and our room, on the 3rd floor, was perfectly quiet. The breakfast buffet was better than average.|But a couple of drawers wouldn't close and veneer was falling off the dresser.|The a/c was like an arctic blast, directed straight at my pillow.|My advice: ask for a room facing north, toward the mountains, or in any case not facing west. Even in February, the afternoon sun made the room too hot, requiring the antiquated a/c to be running too much.

Positive: The location for me was important. It was a good location. The restaurant employees were outstanding. Staff is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! The front desk staff were nice too! The beds were comfy and had lots of pillows. Negative: There was an event the first night of my stay and the music was kind of loud until 10 pm.The second night of my stay it rained and the runoff dripped out of the gutter onto my patio and at times, the noise kept me awake.The room was kind of narrow.

What do you picture when you think of a $500/night room from Hilton? Pretty nice, right? Normally. I was just charged over $500 for one night in the dirtiest, noisiest, most dilapidated room I have ever stayed in anywhere. I'll let the photos speak for themselves. Not that it matters, but I am a Diamond Honors member, and they actually had the nerve to rent me this room. Oh, and my "pool view" was nothing but a brick wall on the ground floor. The staff was wonderful. The owner has guests trapped, as there are no other hotels in Claremont. So, why spend a dime on maintenance? The owner needs to refund my money. Totally unacceptable.

This is the second time I've stayed here. Both times I found the rooms comfortable and well maintained. I never sleep well in hotels, but the beds are the right kind of firm and the blackout curtains are truly blackout, so this is about as good as it gets for me. The little patios are a nice touch. Good water pressure and water temperature, and my thermostat worked perfectly. ||I had a chronic illness flare up this trip and the night staff was amazing. Desiree, in particular, went out of her way to be helpful- probably the best experience with hotel staff that I have ever had. ||The custodial staff at this hotel are very kind and friendly, as are the shuttle drivers. Front desk staff can be a little curt during busy check-in times, which is understandable and only noticeable in comparison to how uncommonly warm most of the staff is at this hotel. ||The restaurant is very good, but the room service breakfast can be hit or miss. It comes in a plastic delivery container and one of the breakfasts I ordered was delivered lukewarm and was inedibly dry.

When visiting the Claremont colleges, we were recommended the DT so as Hilton Diamond we booked a 3-night stay there. Hotel is 3 buildings of rooms plus a 4th for front desk and conference services and the restaurant. We stayed in Building 4 (NW of the 3 buildings) and found it quiet and peaceful and convenient to come and go with parking right outside the unit.||Before arrival, Emma upgraded us to the top (3rd) floor rooms with a balcony - we got a room on the end which made it easy to take the steps to the parking lot and also made sure we only had one neighbor adjacent to us.||The two bed unit we had included a small fridge and a safe along with a balcony having two chairs and a small desk. While it overlooked the parking lot, the view to the north was to a neighborhood lined with trees. The parking lot itself didn't have much traffic or noise overnight.||The pool in the middle of the hotel was nice - even though it was heated the water was on the cooler side when we used it.||Restaurant was great - service was excellent. Marvin served us all 3 days and he was excellent, providing the customizations requested and being prompt and cheerful each day. Food was good, too. We'll stay again for any of our Claremont visits in the future.
