My best friend and I came here to enjoy the spa, on my best friends fiancé‘s behalf! Upon walking in, the vibes were already amazing, beautiful, serene, and the perfect start to a Sunday getaway. We started off with facials, Zara was incredible and so helpful and accommodating to my needs 10/10 recommend her. We then got to hang out by the pool, which was not too crowded, but definitely filled with a decent amount of guests. Originally, we had a server helping us out… But to be honest, he was not the best. So when w had Erica start helping us out it was better than the service we were getting prior. Watching her walk around the entire pool and handling everything and everyone was incredible. She was doing it all and doing it with a smile on her face- even though I know it was a lot! She is one of the reasons we would consider coming back!!! Thanks again Erica for helping us out and being a freaking rockstar!!!!!

I attended a business event here for 3 days and 2 nights. This is a gorgeous resort. The grounds are stunning, the rooms are tastefully decorated and cozy (and quiet!), the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food was top notch - truly the best I've ever had at a business event. Cocktails were delicious and not watered down at all. I highly recommend this resort. ||My only (minor) complaint is the pillows were a little flat for my taste. As a petite woman I definitely prefer that to the mile-high pillows at some hotels, but I would have preferred a slightly fluffier pillow. I realize now I probably could have called the front desk and had one delivered to my room - next time! ||Note: Since the location is right along the coast it can be foggy. We experienced a mix of sun and fog, sometimes multiple times in one day as the fog rolled in and burned off. Be prepared with a sweater and jacket.

Estancia was so great! Location, serenity and comfort of the rooms was wonderful. We were also surprised by how great the food was (both at the pool and in the Greenfinch restaurant). It was always delivered fast and was a good value. The pool and hot tub were so relaxing and the lobby was fun to hang out in! Would definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Estancia La Jolla! The decor and grounds are absolutely beautiful, creating a peaceful and luxurious atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the valet offered fantastic recommendations for things to do in the area. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub—at the end of January, we practically had them to ourselves, which was a treat. We loved the wishing tree and made sure to leave a wish before we left.

There are just a couple of areas for improvement. The pillows were small and lumpy, which didn’t quite match the otherwise luxurious feel of the hotel. Additionally, the barn-style bathroom door left a large gap, which compromised privacy and soundproofing.

Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend Estancia La Jolla for a relaxing getaway!

Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa was my first business spa experience. It didn't disappoint! The rooms were incredible. Each room came with its own balcony or courtyard. The entire property was fenced with real-time cameras. So security was a non-issue. The rooms had a living area, a sleeping area, a shower area, and a toilet area. The location was so quiet I slept with my windows open and wasn't waken once with noise. In terms of service, all of my needs were met. The staff was waiting to assist me in every way. Also, there was an on-site store for incidentals. Do yourself a favor if you're in La Jolla, visit Estancia Hotel & Spa. You'll be glad you did!!

Every interaction I had with the staff at Estancia La Jolla was wonderful! The professionalism, warmth, and authenticity was reflected in truly every experience I had with all different types of staff. The grounds are beautiful, the food incredible, and customer experience impeccable - from booking all the way to checkout.

Check in process was very slow as well as waited several hours for our room. Front desk clerk kept saying a final inspection was needed for the room but this took hours to be completed. Valet service was great. Bartender service was great. Food was excellent at greenfinch. The rooms could have been more clean. There was an obvious lack of vacuuming within the room. I would definitely come back just wish the check in process and the rooms were slightly better.
