SpringHill Suites in Downey is hands-down the best hotel in the area. The property is modern (only three years old), and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff was welcoming and made check-in a breeze.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-designed, with comfortable beds and a great shower with reliable hot water. The gym is well-equipped, the complimentary breakfast is excellent, and there’s even a nice hotel bar to unwind. It’s an incredible value for the price!

I’ve already booked my next stay for an upcoming work trip. Honestly, I hope this gem stays under the radar—it’s probably the best-kept secret in Downey, CA!

We had a wonderful stay. I would like to start by saying we were relocating cities far apart and needed to find an overnight stop along the route. I spent an hour calling around looking for hotels with secure parking or a garage as we had a large vehicle with a top carrier packed full of much of our worldly goods. I was unable to find anything that had secure parking but when I called this Springhill Suite the staff understood my concerns and offered to allow me to park our vehicle in one of the 3 spots right next to the lobby door that are for employees. It was in full view of the lobby desk and they assured me our car would be safe. I immediately booked this location. When we arrived the manager was prepared to move her car so we could park in her spot!! I was even more pleased when we experienced a spotlessly clean hotel, super comfortable beds and a quiet night. Tons of dining choices close by(we chose BJ Brewhouse directly across the street-a 5 min walk). I would HIGHLY recommend this location if you are needing to be in this area of California. The staff went over and above for us and very much appreciated it!!

The rooms are very nice and well taken care of. They have a pool and fitness area that were pretty nice to use in my free-time. Breakfast also had a pretty decent selection of options and they have a bar that’s open at night. I didn’t get the chance to use the bar, but it seemed pretty popular.

A nice, modern hotel right in the heart of town with plenty of places to eat nearby. If you are from out of state I suggest you try In n Out burger to the NW of the hotel. Double double and some animal fries. The hotel has a nice pool with plenty of lounge chairs and they aren't stingy with towels. The market has plenty of stuff you can add hot water to or put in your in-room microwave. Lots of nice beers, but could use Michelob Ultra. There is a bar/light food thing that's open daily 5 to 10. But we ended up finding it open earlier when certain conventions were here.

This property was great for both business and pleasure. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were all incredibly welcoming. The breakfast, parking, location, gym, meeting space, bar, and heated pool were top-notch. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in early October. We were warmly greeted bay the front desk staff at check in and went to our room to unload our luggage before going to visit family. The room was large and very comfortable with a king size bed, desk, chair, flat screen TV, sofa and a clean bathroom. Everything was first rate and very comfortable. Breakfast was filling each morning. Our bill at checkout was the same as quoted at the time we made our reservation. No surprises! ||One morning we forgot to order towels for the room and when we returned late Sunday evening we were surprised to find a clean set of towels already in the room for us. ||We enjoyed our stay very much and our time with family was memorable. The way it should be. Thank you to Livy and her staff for making our stay relaxing and stress free. We will be back someday soon.

We had a REALLY great stay at this location. The rooms were very modern, clean and spacey. Our room had a pull out trundle bed and two queen beds. The breakfast was really good and had a ton of options including croissant breakfast sandwiches.

Location is good for us, near shops and things to do. I don’t like when hotels end breakfast before 10 so I took a star off for that reason.
Decent amenities. Rooms were clean, but our allergies did act up the entire time causing migraines etc due to carpet. Service was good. Would stay again but prefer hotels without carpets.
